As they sit down for tea and enjoy an afternoon in the castle gardens, Princess Celestia shares some of her old ambitions.

This story is a sequel to All-American Girl

A story set in between Books I and II of All-American Girl.

A lot of news has come out of Canterlot lately: the destruction of Fillydelphia and the razing of Cloudsdale. The attack on Canterlot itself. Princess Celestia declaring war. That was bad enough.

Now, with the news of Princess Luna's illegitimate child - an alicorn, no less! - and her intent to marry the father or abdicate, what does that say about the stability of the nation? What does that say that the lunar alicorn chose not to love a pony, but a human? And what does that say about the newly-invested Princess Luna II (who insists on being called Sterling) herself?

Then there's the news of Viscountess Lyra Heartstrings, now somehow permanently a human and never to become a pony once more. Why did that happen? Could it have been prevented? And was it stopped...by humans, no less?

And those rumors, which seem to be on the increase: That Celestia herself has taken a human as a lover. That Saddle Arabia intends to declare independence. That Nightmare Moon survived the attack on Canterlot...and that Chyrsalis didn't, and now something worse has taken her place.

As the months go by and the sapient peoples of both worlds come closer to the end of 2047, a whole lot of uncomfortable truths may come to light...

...and one just might be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

The timeline in this story will follow what we could see of King Sombra's universe in the Cutie Re-Mark episode, but with a significant change: instead of a seemingly never-ending war, war ends upon both parts reaching a hard agreement that would bring peace and tensions. Luna would stay at the Crystal Empire by marrying Sombra, and she would make sure things didn't take a turn for the worse. While also trying to reform the villain by her side.

Braeburn and Soarin have been dating in secret for a bit. When the Wonderbolts came to visit Appleloosa for a bit, Soarin and Braeburn may have gotten caught by Braeburn's father. There's a set of rules to being an Apple: 1. Family comes first. 2. Don't be gay. 3. Never break the rules. Braeburn broke the rules and thus has to face consequences.

When Grogar invade Equestria and unleash his undead armies on the land, Celestia and Luna go inside Tambelon to stop him, a group of six royal guards follow them in hope to assist them. They don't know that by doing so, they entered a world filled with horrors from beyond this universe..

A pegasus named Cloud Strider has traveled years ever since he was cursed by Nightmare Moon's corrupting soul. Growing up in Norway all of his life had strengthened his resolve, teaching him self-reliance and determination as a Norsepony. He never expected that everything he learned and believed in would be put to the ultimate test of resolve.

This is the first story I have created ever since I found out that writing stories are really fun. Unfortunately, I did not know where the story was going so I spent four years writing my story on paper. I've tried to make this as good as I possibly can, so I hope whoever reads this will enjoy it. Even though it's been four years, I'm still making changes on chapters to come.

Disclaimer: There is adult language as well as bloody scenarios far and wide between (There really isn't a lot of it). I also would like to note that I do not use words such as "somepony" or replace swear words such as "buck" and so on.

These past years had been a life-changeing experience for two little ponies. Two very different ponies, yet two best friends. Until an incident puts their friendship out of balance, driving the two apart. None of them could look at the other in the eye since then. And they never talked with each other unless it was absolutely necessary.

Now everything's back to square one, except none of them forgot what happened, they never will. The incident left both wounded which turns to a scar. Unlike bruises, scars don't always fade. It'll always be there to remind you of what happened. And unlike wounds, scars don't hurt. Not anymore.

But what will happen when somepony makes an unexpected decision when both are still recovering? Will they both suffer from being apart, or will they keep in touch, and maybe pull through?
