New fic out, everypony! Won first place in a speedwriting contest! I haven't won first place in a writing thing since the first grade.
It is amazing how long a couple weeks can feel like.
At the time of writing, less than a week ago I was at Everfree Northwest.
It feels like it was forever ago already.
I was feeling like I haven’t recommended a story in a long time… but the last story I read that got added to my Recommended list was read on May 11th, only 11 days before I wrote this introduction (which I then took four days to post).

Welp, I might or might not have published a lil' story 
Just wanted to pop in and comment on what projects I am currently working on and what their present state is.
Heyo, just wanted to do a quick update. All the chapters of Stay Golden that are currently written added up with all the future chapters that are finished and ready to move onto the editing stage equal 66, 422 words. That's a lot, especially when you consider the story isn't even fully written yet. I'm putting a lot of work into this story, so the more people that read and comment, the better. I know it's a seemingly unconventional Ice Star piece, as there is no Sombra, no Lunbra,
Okay, so when I said I'd update this whenever I felt like it, I didn't actually intend to wait quite this long before writing the next chapter.
Regardless, for those of you who remember this little fic, chapter 11 is written and posted! Hopefully there'll be more on the way. I've still got a few bigger projects to work on, but this one will always hold a special place in my heart.
So I'm going to another school competition tomorrow.
Three days of reviews in a row! It has been a while since I pulled that off, but I really thought I should get caught up on my reading. Alas, the actual writing front hasn’t been going quite as well, though I have gotten some work done on a number of stories – but not gotten any of them finished.
Ah, well. Hopefully these reviews will tide you over.

This isn't entirely a blog about video games. The site gets a lot of those, and they aren't necessarily fun to read - if nothing else, they're self-indulgent.
Neither is it entirely a blog about politics. The site gets a lot of those, and they tend to inspire lots of vitriol, justified or not.
And GAMN DOD, is Kingdom Hearts 3 is amazing. I got somethings that I really wanted, some things I didn’t KNOW I wanted, and a few things I didn’t get (such as a few locations that I really wanted to see, or the inclusion of classic/staple encounters and items that have been in the series since day 1).
I felt (mostly) satisfied by the ending, and that epilogue... so many mixed and wildly varied emotions.
I’m not good at romance.
A guy once tried to choke me and then begged for sex, and that’s just the third most horrible confession I’ve gone through. A girl in my high school refused to go out with a guy unless he stabbed his own arm with three needles to show his love. One of my teachers had to go to the hospital on New Year’s because she got a champagne bottle stuck to her vagina.
