So, a certain writer who created an adorable Changling bean commissioned a story from me with a challenge added in, which was basically to reflect on my experiences with writing as well as how much my stories and readers mean to me.
Alright, so if you actually enjoy my stories, writing style, and whatnot, then I can offer you something.
If a person can guess the song name and artist of the song I’m about to post, you can get a free one-shot commission of <10,000 words by me to redeem at any time*. Editing is included.
I will not write porn stories of any type, but anything else is fair game. Just note that I am a slice of life writer, and thus will write slice of life stories the best.
As of late I've been typing down story idea to get commission and I happened to create 12 or so different stories. I want to all these story done as soon as possible but commissions ain't cheap so I can do only 1 story at a time. I can't decide which story to commission first so I'll just set up a poll and tally the votes a week from now.

it's weird that our name is 'darf' here. it's not that anywhere else. mostly we would think of it as "Q.E.D.", and then when no one cared what that was or ego-checked us over wearing the hat, we'd admit we're just a crazy ptsd-survivor with multiple voices in our head. that's not a very careful distinction. anyhoo.
we feel like writing but don't know that we can condense our thoughts creatively into a story. so here is some stuff that has been on our mind recently.
Hey there...so I'm still alive. Just not as active here as I'd like to be. A few quick updates.
1. I haven't exactly been trying to write anything new for a while...curse my lack of motivation.
2. I lost a job, lost my car and got a new job since the last update. Oh yeah and this virus thing happened too.
First thing second, I'll attempt another live-writing session beginning tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016) at 7 PM Central time, and going on as long as I feel like I'm getting somewhere. This won't be another interlude- this will be work on the flights of Missions 13 and 14, the two tourist flights.

Oh, but I did. Originally, I was going to wait until I had both commissions to show, but I figured it was worth showing off. Especially since I have a custom cover now, and will for the main/mature story Stay Golden too. I'm going to need something to post about if not stories for a bit, and I do have some fan art, commissions, and stories I helped with but forgot to blog about to get around to.
For the month of January we have some pretty nice updates and a spicy new story. I'm excited to hear your thoughts.

I've never ever written a commissioned story before now, so this is all new territory to me. I'm pleased to announce that my first commission is finally published and ready for the viewing!

Hello everyone, sorry for posting this so late. I've just been compiling all the ideas coming out this month. So for the most part, Journey To Hearth's Warming and Something Wrong With Canterlot will have no problems in it's new post. The same system as last month will still be happening. One chapter from JTHW and three chapters from SWWC. It's the clop section of my posts that are a bit more complicated. This is because two of them are directly connected to art I'm commissioning this month.
So a few days ago I hit 100 followers on this site, now I would have made this post sooner, but I was busy with a few things. For the past few months, my activity has sort have halted due to me working on Saddle Up 2. However now that I've finished and the pack is out, I'll be able to start writing much more often!

Alright, so I'm horn tooting (which I am often shy about) but I'm gonna do it anyway. Purple Weed Cosmopolitan made top heat on the feature box today. I've had features before, but never one that ranked that highly.
