Because I know some fimfic writers read this blog, I have a question about contest scheduling.
Do you think for you personally, and for people in general, a contest that starts roughly now, and ends in early to mid February, is good timing or not?
In your answer, please say whether you write fimfics. 🙂 (I might peek at your fimfic user page to see them.)
Thank you!
Just a reminder that the fourth FlutterDash contest deadline is looming - approximately 78 hours remain until the deadline strikes (midnight four days from now, Pacific Time). If any of you are encountering any problems, feel free to reach out for help.
I look forward to your submissions!
Well, now I know why he was asking about horror.
Arachnophillia has a sequel now, and from the looks of things, it doesn't turn out well for anyone involved!
I wasn't expecting this one to get a sequel!
We're getting into that part when counting the remaining time in hours starts to make sense.
For some of the authors planning to submit, that might be a bit scary... But it can be done!
If, somehow, you've still never heard of this contest, there's still a little time. Heck, I once planned, wrote, and edited a story for a contest in under 2 hours.
But seriously though. The time for procrastinating is over.
Only a matter of hours left now -- if you're going to enter a story in my big 250k contest, you need to do it very, very soon!
The deadline is tonight at Midnight, Pacific Time.
The results of the big 250k contest are in!
Check my alter ego's blog for the full results!
The contest now has its first entry, and the early bird has earned his worm!

Over on Twitter, Infosec Princess Luna is upset, and I agree pretty much entirely. I still kinda like the show but I love the damn community, and I am not going to let this shit force me into binge-watching and ruining the community aspects of all getting together to take the show one week at a time. Remember when we used to be surprised by the
Hi there guys!
While thinking of what my next story should be about, I had a thought-- Why not let you all choose!
(I always loved contests)
I have three choices right now, and it's up to you to determine which idea gets made into a story first. Let me know which choice sounds the most interesting to you.
From 9/25 to 10/25, I'll be overseeing a story contest on my official Troy/Canvas story group. The grand prize will be $50, with secondary prizes priced at $25 and $10. If you're interested in writing something (or know someone who would be interested), be sure to check out the link below!
