3730243 I have a question about the contest. Can the story just be based off a concept of one of your stories, or does it have to be in the same universe? I'm most likely not going to enter, I'm having enough trouble as it is keeping up with my own fics, but I am curious.

I guess it depends how loosely you're basing it...
But if it's recognizable, it counts as a spin-off!
(I mean, just look at the one this blog post is about. That's definitely not a 'sequel' per se, and probably not even in the same universe, really. But it's definitely based off the existing concept and counts as a spin-off.)

3730289 If I do decide to write It'll either be a clop fic, or a 'dark' fic. Haven't really written anything other than that, and even then I've only written a thousand words of clop. Out of all your fics, which ones do you personally wish someone would base theirs off of? You have too many to choose from, including your other account, and I am absolutely dreadful when it comes to choices.

I've never even thought of which ones I'd most like to see expanded.

The Most Annoying Infestation, because I'd love to see more of that cuteness without having to write it myself.
A Rose For Luna, because that one was decent and could really use a continuation that I'm unlikely to get around to doing.
Sanatorium, because it would be really fun to see what other people do with those characters.
Pinkie Pie's Party Surprise, because that was one of my favorite clopfics to write... I often wish I could read that one without already knowing everything in it and enjoy it properly.
The Relapse, because I've had a sequel 'coming soon' for far too long for that one, and it's one of my best clopfics.
How to Take Care of Your Mare, because I really enjoy that universe, but I can't really justify writing more of it without another commission to do so.
Another Way, because people are clamoring for a sequel, and I have no idea what to do with a sequel.

3730308 Luckily, for various reasons, this narrows it down to The Most Annoying Swarm and The Relapse. I've never tried cute before, so The Most Annoying Infestation does seem like a good idea to experiment with. I really loved The Relapse, so that's an idea as well. It's a bit romantic, but it's carnal enough to be able to write.

Others are either too romantic, too anthro, or too comedic for me to be able to write. The anthro bit is just an aesthetic choice on my part, though. I don't really like anthro that much. I haven't read Sanatorium, so that's out as well.

I would write something in the How to Take Care of Your Mare universe, a lot of options there, but that idea is shot as well. I may have loved reading it, but writing it would just make me feel too bad. Conditioning to think a certain way from birth is something I am disgusted by, and it reminds me of how children in real life are raised to believe and think anything, and can be trained to the wishes of their parents instead of what they themselves might have wished if they were raised to think for themselves.
