Now original I was going to post a different scene, but I ran out of time. This scene is still a tavern scene, but not the one I wanted to show off. Still, you should enjoy this one just fine. It provides an introduction to a good portion of the cast as well as the first look at my self-insert at the very end. My self-insert doesn't really have a big role in the overall story, just that he's in the story. Meanwhile, the rest of the cast hold important roles. Some these character you have
Today's lessons learned:
-When you stop somewhere, take your car keys with you, apparently kids be crimeing
-When joining a Zoom call on public renovations, put you one-eyed wonder weasel away. Anyone who wants to see it or experience you doing a single arm workout with no weight will ask.
Hey, guys! Remember when I said in my last blog?
Hence, why some of you guys probably noticed me jotting stuff down onto a piece of paper. That was a regular occurrence in Quills and Sofas when I couldn't think of anywhere else I needed to be or anything else that I had to do at the moment, and was subsequently busy letting my idle hands be the devil's playthings.
is that whenever I happen to be in one of those two states I end up doing stupid or reckless things...
Just like what I'm about to do today. I'll send two new fics today to the approval queue. That way only destiny (coff coff approvers coff coff) will stop me if it's really necessary.
Anyway. these two new projects are old manuscripts I was holding back on my pc. If there are people that really like the premises of both then I will put more effort into them.
There haven't been any updates because I am going crazy with my scalp post-surgery.
I wanted to show Rarity whining, but this was too adorbs.
Never expect to write anything everyone will love, you'll only have regrets.
Be like Tact, write shit for the sole purpose of writing shit. Won't feel a thing and you'll have a much more fun time doing it.
Anyway, now that that stain on the community is over with. After work today, it's time to put in some more words to the fandom's worst greatest mistake.
Ordinarily, I do only five stories at a time in review sets unless I’m reviewing short story collections, but I decided to do six instead of five in this set so as to avoid compelling myself to try and read four more recent stories in lieu of some older ones I’ve been putting off reading.
Today’s stories:
Attention to Detail by Monochromatic
The Applemancer’s Apprentice by shortskirtsandexplosions
ECT has failed. It worked wonders while it was happening, but a week after my last treatment I began to slip. Now a little over a month later, I'm right back where I started.
I am now embarking on about seven different medications at once to see what happens. One of these is lithium, which is likely to help me. Keep your hooves crossed, fillies and colts. Now, what's next? Oh, right.
PSA: Leftists seem intent on throwing pies at normal people, so please remember. If hit with a leftist food item, bathe thoroughly afterwards to avoid contracting an illness, for example, Monkey Pox.
Maybe Moby Dick and Captain Ahab were actually kinky interspecies lovers with a 24/7 predator-prey dynamic. Unfortunately, their pervasive non-consensual involvement of hundreds of vanilla humans and whales in their exhibitionist whaling industry LARPing lead to astoundingly great loss of life, limb, time (especially Hermain Melville's), money, property, and trees. Despite this unforgivable stain on their legacy, nonetheless I must stan an iconic relationship that endured numerous hardships,
By now (’cause I’m late on the blog post), most of y’all will have noticed that neither Mongolia nor friction particularly feature in my latest offering. It’s also light on actual horses, depending on your headcanon.
There’s a reason for that.
It’s been a year since I launched the not-a-contest, and in that time there have been 31 stories written specifically (or not specifically) for the group.
That’s pretty good! Keep ‘em coming!
As you may know by now, this month is fast approaching its closure and along with it the end of summer; while this is nothing new so to speak of, what's not is the fact that I've started up a PayPal account late last year following my father's hospitalization due to an overdose: thankfully, he's still doing great as of yet. Either way, I can see that no new contributions have been made since the last blog post, even with everything that has been said and done no less; although I can understand
New story! Girl Talk is up, and the story has been featured for most of today (as long as you turn the M filter off).
