Read It Later Reviews #29 – Every Mare Needs Her Stallion, Not a Princess, Let’s Find You a Date!, Felt Heart, Discord Applies for Citizenship Papers · 12:44am Sep 4th, 2015

This could also be called “four shipfics and a random story”. In my Rarity shipping kick, I read the rather strange Every Mare Needs Her Stallion as well as three RariLight pieces. Then, just to round things off, I read one of the highest rated stories on FIMFiction, Discord Applies for Citizenship Papers, which happens to also be extremely short.

How did they all stack up?

    Read on.

...Had you going there for a second, didn't I?

Anyways, let's talk. (It's a long one, bring a sandwich.)

    Username Change! · 8:47am March 26th

I missed my username too much sob

I've been wanting to try out a new username for a while, so I've gone from Monochromatic to Jupiter XVIII!

Might switch back in a few weeks, but for now, my old username will link to an alternate account where I post stuff I don't want here for one reason or another.

It has on okayish raritwi story, and a really nice unrequited twishy story.

    ---

“So, my dear princess, mind telling me exactly how many shades of red you went within the first few days of our meeting?”

“Why do you think I would be counting?”

“Because I happen to know for a fact you counted the other thing. And yes, you need to include that shade of red as well.”

“You do realize I can’t see my face on a regular basis, so I can’t verify that the shades were identical.”

    “Humor me?”

    “No.”

For all of you who read and enjoyed my story Dense As Diamonds (and if you didn't, how did you find this post?), I just finished my second entry for our ducky overlady's Raritwi contest.

The story is set in her Bodyguard AU, and while reading the other installments isn't necessary, it is definitely something you should do. But for now, I hope you enjoy "The Queen Dress" as much as you did my first entry.
Let's get back into the Feature Box, shall we? :raritywink:

Bookhorses have naturally high standards in literature. Here we see an exemplary specimen giving my new story her critical appraisal.

Read It Now Reviews #63 – Colors of the Soul, Unfair, Did Not, The Ever Ash Project, Denial · 2:32am Dec 4th, 2015

With season 5 over, it is time for people to release their reaction fics. I expect that this season finale will be fertile ground for fanfics for many months to come. I myself have some ideas, but I am going to try and push out a lot of stories I’ve got in my pipeline first.

Of course, there’s another writeoff coming up in just a few weeks, so maybe it won’t be such a long delay after all…

    Today’s stories:

Colors of the Soul by Monochromatic
    Unfair by Jay-The-Brony
    Did Not by Obabscribbler
The Ever Ash Project by shortskirtsandexplosions
    Denial by Masterweaver

Read It Now Reviews #50 –Attention to Detail, The Applemancer’s Apprentice, I Don’t Like the Drugs (but the Drugs Like Me), Dear Princess Celestia, Constellations, Second Birthday · 9:38pm Aug 30th, 2015

Ordinarily, I do only five stories at a time in review sets unless I’m reviewing short story collections, but I decided to do six instead of five in this set so as to avoid compelling myself to try and read four more recent stories in lieu of some older ones I’ve been putting off reading.

    Today’s stories:

    Attention to Detail by Monochromatic
    The Applemancer’s Apprentice by shortskirtsandexplosions
I Don’t Like the Drugs (But the Drugs Like Me) by A Hoof-ful of Dust
Dear Princess Celestia by Foals Errand
    Constellations by Soap Box

Today’s Read it Now Reviews are brought to you by procrastination. Procrastination – where you get everything done except the thing with an actual due date.

Though at least it finally made me catch up on SS&E’s recent works, read a few RariLight stories (a ship that I have long-neglected to read many stories about), and make more progresss on Mistletrapped.

    Not Another Milestone Blog + Writing Updates · 6:33pm Aug 20th, 2016

I wanted to get this blog out a few days ago (a week ago now), but I've just been so busy with my life lately I had to wedge in time to even do this. My semester just recently started up, I've been out of the house quite a bit, and when I have been home I've either been with friends or working. And yes, some of that work, being churned out slowly but surely, is writing. I'm busy! I'm happy to be back on a schedule, and then this happened:

I'll be honest... At first, I didn't know how to respond to this. Now, after a week, I still don't know how to respond to this. :rainbowlaugh:
