After hearing about the Friendship School from Gallus, Gabby decides she wants to attend too, so Gallus helps get her enrolled and soon, she settles in just fine and soon makes friends with the rest of Gallus's friends and becomes especially close with Silver Stream, the hippogriff.

There are 100 billion stars in the Milky Way, and humanity is determined to explore every one. We send probes, probes with the blueprints to reproduce human explorers upon arrival. Uninhabited worlds the galaxy over can be colonized and populated, until after many years they too can join the vast throng of interstellar civilization. But if a probe is very, very lucky, it will land on a populated world instead. Equestria is one such world.

Even so, it's far from perfect for colonization, not with an environment lethal to human life. But each probe is resourceful and armed with the greatest machine intelligence mankind has devised. If placing a human mind into a newly manufactured human body won't work, it will just have to get a little more creative.

Two years ago, Rainbow Dash stole Lightning Dust's dream from her. While the Element Bearer went on to become a Wonderbolt, Lightning Dust faded into obscurity. She worked what jobs she could find, but, bitter and broken, she spent more of her evenings inside the bar than outside of it. For two years, her dreams of becoming a Wonderbolt were just that: dreams, shattered and empty.

Then one night, Rainbow Dash reentered Lightning's life. The conversation that followed would lead Lightning on a second chance to achieve her dreams. But she never could have imagined what else she'd find along the way.

Honorable Mention in Jake the Army Guy's Horseword Extravaganza

Things are going pretty well, until Gabby is stumped by one particular Griffon, who doesn't seem especially passionate about anything, let alone having a Cutie Mark.

In The Fault in Our Cutie Marks, the Cutie Mark Crusaders make Gabby an honourary Crusader at the end of the episode, and give her a couple of emblems.

What if Scootaloo had come up with one last idea to get Gabby her actual Cutie Mark?

Gilda is a griffin, so are you. You are the only griffin that lives in Ponyville, you don't mind but it's starting to get lonely. One day when out for a little stroll you meet another griffin. She seems to be having a blast, until her best friend shuns her. After that traumatic event Gilda turns to you for support, from then on a very unlikely friendship is born.
