A mark for Gilda? Easy: A lightning bolt.

7588101 Nah a lightning bolt would not be good enough since we don't know much about Gilda. That would be way too bland as she could be a very in-depth character. We've very briefly seen she likes to be competitive (and make scones) but aside from those we haven't seen any of what Gilda's life is like in Griffin Stone she could have some other talents we don't know of. One competitive scene isn't enough to warrant a cutie mark IMO it should be more creative and less predictable than that.

7588858 Right. a lightning bolt works for Gilda because she is a fast flyer AND her brutal honesty strikes you as hard and fast as a bolt of lightning.
Thus, an orange lightning bolt with gold trim would be perfect mark for Gilda, in my opinion.
7589973 I wouldn't consider Gilda very honest, not from what we've seen anyway. She puts on a tough attitude and acts cool to hide how she really thinks and feels. When we first see her she plays pranks and is mean to RD's friends behind RD's back, but acts nice to them and smiles when RD and is paying attention until she finally snaps, then she tries to pretend she's all cool and not bothered even though she was wrong about Pinkie pranking her.
The 2nd time we see her try to act badass and claim to not care about anyone, then rush to help that other Griffon when she falls, then she lies again and say she didn't really care about being friends. She also does this with RD. Being a prankster who hides her feelings and lies about them, I really don't consider Gilda honest at all. Perhaps she might be in the future, but we have yet to see it.
Also, I don't think a Lightning Bolt says 'Honesty' It says fast, but that could be any physical aspect or personality trait. I don't look at a lightning bolt and think "Oh that means brutal honesty." There are tons of pegasi a Lightning Bolt cutie mark suits, because of their speed, but Gilda seems far too chilled out, she raced with Rainbow in one episode for a short while, which most Junior Speedsters students probably do when they meet up, but this doesn't really make her stand out or define her since she hasn't shown much of a passion or obsession for speed like Rainbow has.
7589973 Dash, Scootaloo, Lightning Dust, Thunderlane, Sassaflash, Dash's Dad (Spectrum Strike is it? White Lightning... there are wayy too many lightning bolt cutie marks already. Would be nice for Gilda to get something different. I don't see her having speed as a passion just because she raced once with RD, and as the new chapter points out, she was never in the Equestria Games races, proving that she obviously wasn't the ideal Griffon for the position. I also agree with Chestnut that Honesty is not one of Gilda's strengths.
What do I think? I. WANT. MOARRRRRRRRRRR. Seriously. This is so flippin good I can't even AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

7637018 Thanks, I wouldn't normally but as these were both parodies of songs from the show, and they have the reference to the originals, people already know their tune, so it's just for a bit of fun really. Skipping them doesn't make a whole lot of difference as the story is still there, it's just an added bit of humor that people can take or leave.
