Welcome to The Contest Corner!

This is a very laid back group for writing contests of all kinds. My main reason for creating such a group is because so many of the other Contest/Competition groups rarely ever get updated. I feel this could be because of a number of reasons, and have designed this group in such a manner that it will hopefully be a success.

First of all, this group is laid back and run by everyone, for everyone. Anyone can be an entrant, and anyone can do the judging. I may be the founder, but I am in no way the 'head judge' and there will be no specific Panel of judges. Let me explain:

Basically, if you wish to create a contest, then you simply post the contest theme and brief, along with any rules and regulations onto a new thread in the Forum. You will be the judge of that contest along with any other users you choose to help you with the judging. If you do not wish to be the judge, then of course you can assign other users to do the judging for you. If you wish to offer prizes, that is also completely up to you.

Prize ideas such as Fan Art or Proof Reads would be great, another great Prize could be that the winner gets a story written for them based on any topic they like. But it is up to you!

This Contest Group is extremely laid back and you are free to do what you like with your own contests. Hopefully this will be updated by you all on a regular basis. So relax, play nice, and have fun!

Submissions
If you create a contest, I will assign a folder for it. Drop me a message if it takes me longer than a day to do this. Use the Forum freely to discuss ideas with each other at your own discretion. Feel free to help each other out as much as you like, regardless of whether you are competitors or not.
