Rainbow Dash, a young filly, sits outside among the stars one night and she wonders what life is all about. She thinks about her dreams and ambitions and she'll stop at nothing in order to achieve said dreams. After months of trying, Rainbow Dash finds herself in a defeated tizzy, but she is still undeterred from making her dreams become a reality. Tonight, she vows to touch the stars!

Twilight Sparkle accomplished something incredible, something not even the great Starswirl could manage. But ascension into the ranks of Equestria's princesses is not without its difficulties. Before she can take her place as princess of Friendship, Twilight must travel to the underworld and make a ceremonial offering to Death in exchange for her immortality. Twilight is more than a little surprised to discover the identity of the pony under the hood.

After years living in Ponyville and getting to know her friends, Twilight always assumed they were exactly what they seemed: a group of friendly and ambitious ponies. But as it turns out, the sort of pony who saves Equestria and decodes the ancient mysteries of Starswirl is likely to attract ponies a tad more interesting.

Silverstream and Gallus get the chance of a lifetime when Rainbow Dash asks them to participate in the Wonderbolt Academy trials after two of her three recruits call out sick. Stuck in a situation of her own making, the Wonderbolt team member tries to impress upon her fellow team members and Commander Spitfire the idea of having both Hippogriffs and Griffons as part of the trials as a positive thing. Despite some ponies feeling otherwise about 'outsiders' interloping in their traditions, Silverstream and Gallus will do all they can to show that the skies for flying are not mutually exclusive to just pegasus ponies or that ponies alone know how to be 'crazy awesome, totally amazing' flyers.

Several nosy little birdies put Surprise on the path to discovering Spitfire's budding relationship with Rainbow Dash. If Spitfire gets her hooves on any of them, they won't be flying so well. Especially if that information gets spread around to the rest of her team, or Rainbow's friends.

Rainbow is sent to fill in for an instructor at the Wonderbolts Academy by Spitfire whilst the team handles a dull and uninteresting tour abroad.

After meeting the small team of promising recruits, Rainbow begins to worry that her position is a little more permanent than originally advertised! The only course of action is to hatch a plan or two to get out of it... and hopefully teach the recruits something along the way.

Soarin and Rainbow Dash have been a known thing for quite some time now. Every interview, every meet-and-greet, every show, and every day, they are faced with the same love and hate from fans all over Equestria. Only the ones who bother to really observe see that the couple is just as innocent, sensitive, loyal, and sweet as they are raunchy, sexy, bold, and confident. Nothing can be a better representation of that than what went on at HQ.

He hates it more than words can express, but Soarin has always had a tendency to be overprotective of his mare, sometimes even jealous. And seeing that Dash happens to be one of the most attractive mares on the face of the planet, he has a good reason to be; stallions always seem to know the right buttons to press to make him feel jealous and threatened. Sometimes it doesn't even matter who the stallion is - if they overstep Rainbow's boundaries, it'll be enough to set him off. So when his cool finally slips around a fellow Wonderbolt, he doesn't expect his day to end very well.

What he doesn't realize is that Rainbow Dash is very aware of how he's like when he sees her with someone else. And she wouldn't change that for the world. She loves him inside-out and will be damned if doesn't know that.

For PimpArtst101's story contest for the given cover piece, and also inspired by Camila Cabello's song "Inside Out" off of her debut self-titled album. First time I've ever done something like this, but Imma tell you, this was SO much fun to do, and I hope you enjoy!

After breaking her wing and being grounded for a couple days, Rainbow Dash gradually finds she's a lot smaller than she realized.
