Fluttershy's been feeling overstretched lately, and she really needs a break. She wants to go drinking, but she can't go alone. Luckily, she has a long standing deal with Rainbow Dash: any time she wants to go out and have fun, Rainbow Dash will go with her and make sure she's safe. How this strange system came to be is another story, but Fluttershy is eternally grateful to her friend for following through every time she's feeling stressed. In fact, the only thing wrong with this system is that Fluttershy can never remember what happens the next day.
But Rainbow Dash knows that's a good thing.

Twilight Sparkle is the master of her own mind. She is the Princess of Friendship. She is the fourth piece of the Alicorn Tetrarchy. She has incredible power, and she has always asserted it in a necessary and compassionate way. She has a charmed life—a wonderful set of friends, a beautiful castle in a lovely little town, and is constantly busy with her life, stretching her wings upward and outward to new horizons as often as possible.

There can be nothing wrong with her.

This year, however, Applejack is shocked to hear a strange voice "in the sky" that narrates her life and is pressuring her into romantic feelings for Rarity. Applejack is at the mercy of this unknown source as she is pulled to carousel boutique to seal her fate with Rarity in one sweet simple kiss.

Twilight is preparing for the Nightmare Night, with a perfect gift idea for Luna as well. But then Rarity accidenlty gets in and things don't go that well when Applejack does the same.

And small RariJack craziness shall happen.

With all of her friends gone, the lessons they taught Twilight will be echoed in one final letter.

Celestia pays Twilight and her friends a visit.

It has been a very long time since she saw them last.

After the Crystalling, Starlight Glimmer starts to feel quite fond of Sunburst. She's always thinking about him and feels her stomach explode in butterflies whenever he comes to mind. She is constantly hoping from a letter from him, and has a strange desire to be close to him.

She approaches her mentor, Twilight Sparkle, questioning if these feelings are normal for friendship, or if their friendship is... special for whatever reason.

A brief discussion had by Twilight and Starlight with a few slightly humorous scenes.
