Rarity takes her friends to a Prench restaurant in Canterlot for breakfast and orders one of her favorite dishes, crêpes sucrées. Applejack is skeptical of the food - crêpes are just a thin layer of cooked sweet dough, nothing more than an excuse to eat whipped cream and sugar without consuming anything of substance. The debate over the nature of crêpes as food leads the pair to a bet, Applejack allowing the unicorn to give her a makeover and show her off, the unicorn going a day without her precious makeup and fake eyelashes.

But do the pair have ulterior motives for wanting to see each other in a new way?

It's a simple agreement: Rarity will take Applejack to a proper gallery opening, and in turn, Applejack gets to take Rarity to something called a 'hootenanny.' What could possibly go wrong?

Set toward the end of Season 4's, "Simple Ways". After their little spat during Trenderhoof's time in Ponyville, Rarity and Applejack come to the realization that they have stronger feelings for each other than they realized. They are first able to admit these feelings and decide to start their relationship slowly. A weekly spa date tradition is born and the happy couple get started on their romantic journey together.

Co-written with Professor Piggy. Rarity and Applejack go out for a fun night on the town with their friends, but when Rarity's flirtatious tendencies flare up, the evening rapidly turns into something more serious than either of them expected it to be. A RariJack story.

After completing yet another marvellous masterpiece of fashion, Rarity faintly feels like she's ready to tell the pony that inspired her new dress exactly how she feels. She has only one problem. Though her feelings for a certainty orange earth pony may be genuine, she has no idea whether her close friend will feel the same way, especially after a certain training event involving unicorns to which Rarity was not invited. In the end however, she may simply have to accept that she's all out of luck.

Applejack and Matte Palette were best friends when they were younger. Like her, the poor colt doesn’t seem to have much in common with kids his own gender, so they formed an unlikely duo. The two were inseparable, right up until Applejack moved to live with the Orange side of her family, and the childhood friends fail to keep in touch.

But time passes, and Applejack returns to Ponyville. Her biggest hope is to pick up where she left off, and that includes her friendship with Matte Palette. Something seems different about him, though.
