This story is a sequel to Abandoned by Pinkie

A month after his adventure into the abandoned park Neon Lights tries to uncover a few more of the Cheesy Pie Corporation's secrets from the safety of his computer. Using his blog Neon Lights will attempt to talk to other ponies about rumors revolving around the bizarre company and have to shuffle through them to find all the facts.

However, even from the safety of one's own room the unraveling of secrets can be dangerous and old wounds can be opened.

Dust has lived on the edge of Ponyville all her life, keeping to herself and studying. She knows Princess Twilight, and so when she realizes she's made a big discovery, she's eager to run to the castle and tell everypony the good news. But when she goes into Ponyville, they don't seem very happy to see her.

Why would that be? She didn't do anything wrong.

Since she was a filly, Twilight Sparkle has sought to solve one of the greatest magical mysteries in Equestria's history.

Now, with the help of her very own student, she might be able to do just that.

But so concerned is she by the thought that she can so something, she never stops to consider whether she should...

A small bit of horror strongly inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft and Robert Bloch.

Twilight finds a hidden book in the Royal Canterlot Library, though she might not like what it tells her.

Twilight Sparkle awakens one morning to find all of Ponyville wholly consumed by a spreading cloud of white.

Hopefully The Stranger inside her castle can help her understand what this all means.

"Dey say that da Loa grant power to those that devote demselves. Power to those that give their life to dem. Power to those who will gladly cut out dere own hearts for dem.

"But I was never devoted. Never da life giver. Never da one to make sacrifices.

"Dey say that da Loa curse those, banish those, who do dem wrong. Do dem great 'injustice'. Make dem angry. And any troll with two and a half brain cells know that ya never want ta make a Loa angry.

"But I was never one for doing things da right way. Never one for justice. Never one to make people happy. I sure as hell am not one who makes da logical decisions. But now I pay da price of defiance against my people, against my race.

"But ya know what? This isn't a curse or banishment. This is just a new beginning in a world that I have been blessed with."

All started with a green flash in the sky, after all was darkness, all in just a moment...

Demons and fire rained from the sky, chaos reigned and the flame of the life was extinguished almost completely...

Twilight Sparkle has always been frustrated with Discord. His ability to do anything, with no more effort than a snap of his claw. It shouldn't be possible. His power had to come from somewhere.
Then, one day, Twilight lets slip how she feels. Surprisingly Discord agrees to explain it to her. To give her the secret to all of his powers. If she's willing to pay the price that knowing it all will bring.

After Lord Tirek was conquered, Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich join forces to create the Cheesy Pie Corporation and started creating theme parks around Equestria. At one point Pinkie Pie had the idea of sharing the fun with the Zebra nation and a park was made in the Zebra country, only to be abandoned later.

Now Neon Lights has decided to investigate the ruined park, to learn the reason behind the parks closure.

However, the stallion will soon learn that some things are best left... Abandoned.
