As a result of being deserted by their friends after the Canterlot Rodeo, Rarity and Pinkie are forced to hoof-cart it home. Will they make it one piece?

Pinkie is not always the easiest pony to be around, with her maniac energy and crazy outbursts, but she means well, and she loves her friends dearly. What her friends don't know, is how sensitive Pinkie really is, so what happens when she overhears a discussion had by her friends, about her?

If you ask Applejack, she’ll tell you Pinkie Pie can be a few apples short of a bushel even on the best of days. They’ve always been good friends, but nothing more than that. After all, what could a hard-working apple farmer and a sugar-crazed party pony possibly have in common?

As it turns out, the answer to that question may not be a pleasant one, but something good may yet come of it.

It's one thing to wake up on the wrong side of the bed. It's something quite different to worry that it doesn't have a right side anymore. Stuck in an artistic rut, Rarity has to rely on an unlikely friend to understand who she is, and in doing so, discovers that what we want may not always be obvious, even to oneself.

There may or may not be an excess of hats involved, and fabulosity is guaranteed.

Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie find each other in the midst of a raging storm. Through the rain, wind, lightning, and whatever else a storm can throw at a pony, they just might find something new in the process.

Pinkie has been dying to set off on her own for ages now and travel beyond the party-free lifestyle of the rock farm. Equipped with nothing but a few bits and belongings and a joyous spirit she sets out for the first time into the big wide world...Only for her to run into Equestria's number one quack and mad scientist, Dr. Von Goul, whose been looking for a test subject for his latest experiment, the Fourth Pool.

The Fourth Pool is rumored to be able to give one who bathes in its waters the power of unimaginable sight and ability, that is if you don't self-combust or melt into a puddle instead.

Can Pinkie Pie handle the ancient magic of the pool? and can Dr, Von Goul handle Pinkie if she can? And how did Pinkie manage to find her way to Ponyville? Let's find out.

This story is a sequel to Petriculture

It's been several months since Pinkie Pie made a stunning admission about her past that permanently changed her relationship with her friends, particularly Twilight Sparkle, but life seems to have settled back to normal (well, normal by Pinkie Pie's standards, at least). However, when an old nemesis returns and ensnares Twilight in her influence, it's up to Pinkie to make things right.

In an effort to keep her mind occupied, Twilight Sparkle decides to delve once again into the grand mysteries of Pinkie Pie. This time, Twilight's focus is on her claims of growing up on a rock farm: like so many things related to Pinkie Pie, the idea that somepony could grow rocks as an agricultural product makes absolutely no sense. However, the investigation eventually leads Twilight to a rather... surprising discovery.

A week into Twilight's role of princess and all is at peace. She adjusts to new duties as a princess, while still keeping up with her friends and her books. However, the sky is always calmest just before the storm. An innocent outing planned for an astrological event seems to send a look of unspeakable terror into the eyes of Celestia.

A reckoning half-a-millennium in the making is about to crash into Equestria and it will put the bonds of harmony to their ultimate test.
