This story is the first of two bonus chapters for two different stories. My ‘Of Horseshoes, Apples and Feathers’ and my friend The Irish Brony X’s ‘Honesty and Loyalty’ who was inspired by mine. These are not vital to the plot but makes some things more understandable.

Two long-time friends meet after a long time and suddenly end up fighting Nightmare Moon. We all know that, but what happened that night?

The Cutie Mark Crusaders have a simple request for Celestia, but first, they're going to talk about the sun.

Twilight improves upon the portal mirror to allow her and her friends to see alternate universes. They quickly learn things that may strain their current relationship with Rainbow Dash.

Octavia and Harmonia Philharmonica were on their way to Manehattan, ready to fulfill their duty as granddaughters and visit Nana. Vinyl Scratch and her brother Long Play were traveling back home from a concert in Canterlot, the first that Vinyl had ever attended. Pure serendipity facilitated these pairs' first meeting.

Years have passed since Octavia Philharmonica and Vinyl Scratch first met on the platforms of Canterlot Station. In the short time that they spent together, they became the best of friends. Then they separated, both of them returning to their homes, meeting one another with less and less frequency as time went on. Within a few years, they had only memories of each other, impressions of the fillies that they used to be.

And then they met again, in the hallways of the Canterlot Conservatory.

Not much was known about Rainbow Dash's family life, until one day, her brothers decided to pay her a visit.

A short trip to Canterlot with Rainbow Dash and Applejack is the perfect opportunity for Twilight to test out her new long-distance Teleportation spell. But a nasty cold dashes the hopes of a quick trip, and makes the spell disappear in smoke: instead of arriving in Canterlot, the three find themselves in the nearby Everfree Forest, and discover that their location is not the only thing that went wrong.

While Rainbow has exchanged her wings and tail for a straw blond tail, Applejack has acquired a rainbow tail as well as a pair of strong, blue wings.

While Twilight attempts to find a spell to return the body parts to their rightful owners, the others must attempt to deal with this situation... and with their changing feelings.

Everypony has a guilty pleasure and for many, especially the single, that pleasure can be found in the adult novel section of the library. For every shipment in recent memory, Twilight Sparkle has looked forward to the newest novel from the up-and-coming Saucy Tale. For every shipment in recent memory, she hasn’t been disappointed.

So when Twilight discovers that the source of these stories is none other than the subconscious hyper-awareness of Rainbow Dash, can her brain cope with the implications or will her friends face yet another purple-coloured meltdown?
