Nightmare Moon; fabled mistress of darkness and fallen protector of dreams. A legend and nothing more, right?

The ponies of Equestria couldn't be more wrong, especially when Nightmare returns during the Summer Sun celebration and proclaims eternal night, with no Celestia in sight. All of the ponies of the land shall kneel and praise their Queen as she brings forth her beautiful night and they shall praise her magnif-wait. Where are there wardrobes? Why can she clearly see their cutie marks?

Is there a draft in here? Celestia's got some splaining to do.

Sorta a funny one-shot. Happy April fool's!

The shadow pony that resides in the castle of the ancient pony sisters has gathered enough power to break free from the spell that keeps the remnants of Nightmare Moon's powers in the castle. The shadow pony has risen to become Nightmare Moon. Only the Cutie Mark Crusaders will be able to manage to save Equestria.

Demon. Villain. Witch. All of these malevolent words have been used to describe Sunset Shimmer. What can a mare do? She ran. And now after 10 years of running, it's time for her to leave the ghosts of her past and save Equestria. When the bearers of the Elements of Harmony disappear and the creatures of Equestria need a hero, they turn to one pony alone. Sunset Shimmer, the mare who can see where the mountain meets the sun.

Princess Luna looks beyond her airs, her masks, and her own sense of being to view the woman in the mirror. A her long past, yet one that is the she that she has come to know best. A vale of lies and a cloak of shame cascade between she and herself; one that only with four hands together can be removed to see reality. A stark reality that stabs at the heart.

So.. This is one of my random fanfics I came up with at 1 A.M. waiting to see of my best friend was gonna text me(He never did :P) Anyways, this is set a little while after Luna has returned from the moon and Nightmare is gone. But she is afraid of it happening again. Only Celestia can help her.

Princess Luna is sleeping during the day and comes face to face with a being from her past in her dreams that she never wanted to see again.

But Twilight Sparkle, her brand new alicorn powers just beginning to settle inside of her, does not see a fairy tale. She sees a possibility that will impress both the other princesses and the citizens of Equestria. However, a test run of this spell does not go as perceived. Twilight Sparkle ends up an unwilling visitor in the mind of Princess Luna.
But she is not alone.
