Most pegasi figure out flying easily enough. Heck, most of them figure out how to do it before they even get their cutie marks.

But not me. I couldn’t do it, no matter how hard I tried. I couldn’t even hover. Not for more than a few seconds, anyway. And not even Rainbow Dash, the greatest flier in Equestria, could seem to help me. We tried everything, and I failed every time. Day after day, I tried – and day after day, I failed, until finally I was ready to just give up. I’d never be able to do it. Nopony would ever be able to help me to fly...

...until one day, somepony did.

Bright Night has woken up in Ponyville, but he has just one problem. He doesn't remember anything. Can his friends help him find the memories he lost, or will he have to form a new life in Ponyville, never knowing who he truly is? And what is the reason he lost his memories in the first place? Life in Ponyville, outside of the usual events like a parasprite invasion or a revenge-seeking, all powerful megalomaniac kicking out the town librarian, tends to be laid back and typical. Which Applejack doesn't mind. However, after the CMC cause more problems due to influence from a newcomer in town, Applejack gathers the girls to go fix what the CMC did.

But then a mysterious creature ends up attacking Applejack, and while she survives and seems fine, it isn't long before she starts acting strangely. It's up to the usual group of ponies to figure out what's going on before it's too late.

After visiting the spa, Fluttershy and Rarity drop in to say hi to Twilight. Unfortunately, they end up startling her in the midst of her studies, and a spell is accidentally cast. The end result? Fluttershy and Rarity switch bodies, and Twilight has no idea how to fix it - yet.

For the two friends, learning how to handle their new bodies will be challenging enough. But what about the lives and responsibilities attached to them? Things only become more complicated when the Cutie Mark Crusaders get involved...

All her life, Fluttershy felt different from the other pegasi. She preferred the ground to the clouds, and the simple love of her animal friends always seemed to refresh her... And she never really had to eat... She didn't remember her parents, either...

One day, though, her life changes forever, when she and her best friends find out what she truly is.

Twilight hosts a get-together party, which, with the help of Pinkie Pie, goes down well. But after Twilight unintentionally casts the wrong spell, the Mane Six find themselves having to live each others' lives.
