Applejack, lacking her classic Stetson? Rainbow Dash's mane, way too long? THE Princess Celestia, pink? When anything and everything in the world is run by Hasbro, this effort, or lack thereof, just won't do.

Having had enough of their image being sullied by executives that just don't care, the Mane 6 go on strike. Through the eyes of Mr. Potato Head, head of Hasbro, this can only mean disaster. Through the eyes of Mr. Bowing, an employee at the bottom of the food chain, this could be the end of his career, and that's if he's lucky.

But through the eyes - the mismatched eyes - of the ever-optimistic Derpy Hooves, this is a golden opportunity. Tasked with recruiting and leading a new cast of main characters, Derpy sets out to accomplish what's been asked of her in ways only she can. And may Celestia help us all...

Only the most recent in a slowly-increasing list of incredibly dumb ideas that keep popping into my head. This story was created simply because of the title that a friend of mine came up with.

Four thousand years ago before Luna and Celestia were even born and before Equestria was founded, there lived three tribes: The Earth Ponies, The Pegasi, and the Unicorns. They all lived in peace over the rule of the first king: King Raziel. King Raziel and his queen had two sons: Merciful; the eldest, and Joyful; the youngest. One day the Royal Sorcerer, Magi, prophesied that there would be a sign that explained who would take the throne. A thousand years later, the sign came and showed that Joyful was to rule, but Merciful was not happy, and he turned into a gruesome entity; fueled by greed and anger, and he named himself Envious. As Joyful disappeared, Envious tried to take control of the kingdom, but Magi and five other ponies, wielding Magi's greatest creation in magic: The Elements of Harmony, and they defeated Envious. Sealing him into a Water Sapphire, they hid him away into a distant land.

Three thousand years later, a stallion finds himself in Canterlot Castle after Celestia had brought him in during a thunderstorm. He has amnesia and as a result of that, he lost his cutie mark. After aiding some servants, the stallion was given the title: Helpful the Selfless, from Celestia, and he was made her most trusted servant. He was then sent to Ponyville and met the Mane Six one by one, and they all became the best of friends very shortly. They all had great adventures together, including Sunny the Dragon; a wanderer now let into his mansion. She swore to clean his entire house top to bottom to pay back for her stay, including finding a gift or Fluttershy; Helpful's crush. But soon everything went into chaos around them as they had unknowingly unleashed Envious from his Water Sapphire, and now they have to find Prince Joyful and the Elements of Harmony in order to save Equestria from Everlasting Darkness.

We've all imagined visiting Equestria: meeting our favorite ponies, visiting Ponyville. But what if bronies really got to visit Equestria? Would it be as wonderful as we've all imagined? Or would it be a frightening encounter for our favorite ponies?

"Beware Her wrath, fools who dare threaten our Kingdom. For if Celestia be our Shield, then Luna is the Sword."

When your life is as dull a gray as the world that surrounds you, the mundanities can make it all seem meaningless. Sometimes all we need is a little color -- or six -- to reintroduce us to what truly makes life worth living.

One thousand years ago, something happened in Canterlot. Two Princesses entered a room, and only one walked out again. The people were told something to keep them quiet, to keep them from talking, but it wasn't the truth... only Celestia remembers what actually happened.

Dawnstar is a much darker take on the story of the two sisters - opening with a more believable set of events that may have occurred the day Luna was banished, then following Celestia as she lives a thousand years without her sister. Unlike my other stories, it's almost completely lore compatible - it fits so well it's practically a conspiracy theory.
The only thing that doesn't click in perfectly with show lore is the conversation between Luna and Celestia at the end, but the one that took place in the show's second episode no longer made sense, so I call artistic liscence ;)
