This story is a sequel to Storm of Emotions

After the turbulent events of the Royal Garden opening, Rainbow Dash and Soarin's friendship went on surprisingly well. With everything that happened, they could learn more and realize how much they are important to each other. Soarin even offered Rainbow Dash an opportunity to have weekly practices with him at the Wonderbolt Academy, which she gladly accepted.

With only a few days until the start of their training, they have an unexpected (and quite painful to Soarin) reencounter, that ends up taking both of them to the Ponyville hospital, where they learn a little more about each other.

As their weekly practices begin, their connection only deepens, making them question their feelings and contemplate the thought that, just maybe, their friends were right all along.

After a long day of letting down her friends, Rainbow Dash loses confidence and feels unloved and unappreciated by the inhabitants of Ponyville. Whilst waiting for the sun to set, Rainbow gets a visit from Soarin who is determined to put a smile back on her face,
At the same time building up the courage to ask his mare friend a question which will change both of their lives.

Though it would not always be apparent, and indeed would often be shown in the most oblique of ways, Big Macintosh would find that his relationship with Rainbow Dash would provide good case studies to demonstrate this.

Soarin and Rainbow Dash have been dating for many months now. She is a professional flyer and one of the top rookies in the wonderbolts, while he helps train her to be the very best of them all. One day, after a long day of training, she does not show up at the lockers. He goes to find her and the two share a personal yet bonding moment between them.

Even if the situation is awkward to begin with.

Rated T for sexual references, mostly involving breasts. Nothing else other then that.

Soarin wakes up suddenly in the middle of the night. A strange noise catches his attention from the bedroom next to his. What he will discover is going to make him realize - It is time to be true to what is inside his heart.

After spilling coffee on Soarin one night, Rainbow Dash tries to help him clean up.

Things started to get embarrassing and awkward when Spitfire and Fleetfoot suddenly barges into the house and finds them in the situation.

Buck.

The war between the night and the day grinds on. Ponies on both sides face horrifying odds in a seemingly endless war. For Rainbow Dash and Soarin these facts are too real. Despite this fact, the two ponies managed to carve out a small space of calm in the midst of all the chaos. But nothing is guaranteed on the battlefield especially when duty and compassion run against each other.
