Princess Celestia asked the element bearers to write her friendship reports. When she reads about how Twilight overcame Tirek, she is surprised and... somewhat less than pleased.

After all, as the Princess of Friendship, shouldn't she have tried to work through Tirek's issues? Shouldn't she have tried to reform him? Shouldn't she have known better than to give the villain all their power?

And then there is that one, last, thing...

Twilight and the other Element Bearers thought that Rainbow's ego was becoming a problem. So they invented a hero to teach Rainbow a lesson. Instead, they learn that the only thing worse than a wounded enemy is a comrade betrayed. Never betray the Element of loyalty.

Hoppy Draft, proprietor and bartender of the Steady Drink, is a simple stallion of simple tastes, though most of those were directed somewhere towards alcohol. He runs a steady business at the edge of town, his customers coming from all kinds of places to get some rest from their travels. He's had every kind of creature in his place, from ponies to griffons.

But the one thing he did not expect came in the form of a soft knocking at the door during a cold, wintry evening.

Marriage is the hardest thing Carrot Cake has ever done, second only to being a father to his two foals.

Woken by a chill and finding himself quite bereft of blankets, he finds himself pondering the canyon that has appeared between he and his wife.

This story is a sequel to The Hnng-ening

For the first time in years, Twilight tries on her old pair of glasses to figure out if they still induce strange effects in other ponies.

As it turns out, the effect is hugs. Many, many hugs. Unfortunately, she doesn’t know how to make them stop.

Though this story is a sequel, it's a standalone story and doesn't necessarily require any knowledge of the prequel.

No, we ain't never been lucky, but in that ring, I don’t need luck. I’m one win away from saving our farm, and Granny says that tonight I’m fighting some fancy unicorn named Blueblood. I hear he's real fast, but there ain’t no way I’m losing with so much on the line.
