While Sunny and Izzy were preparing lunch that day, Izzy discovers that she can do more than levitation. This leads to some unfortunate problems around Maretime Bay and beyond.

Sunny never thought she'd actually meet a unicorn in the flesh. Now she's off on a riproaring adventure with her, giving her plenty of time to talk and watch her. She wasn't really prepared to deal with what that might bring, however.

In Equestria, when it rains it pours. A recent barrage of threats has included an evil queen from the moon, an invasion of shapeshifting bugs, and even a rampaging god of chaos.

Some days, Twilight Sparkle wishes there was an easy fix for it all. Some sort of rainbow laser that could solve any conflict. But wishful fantasizing doesn't keep ponies protected; hooves on the ground do.

Only guards like Twilight can keep Ponyville safe. Still, she won’t say no if a few locals offer help...

In an effort to mend the bonds of friendship between the three races, Pipp Petals sets up an interracial meet-and-greet in Zephyr Heights with the assistance of her new friend Sunny Starscout. An earth pony and a pegasus from two entirely different walks of life find out that they've got a lot more to talk about than they would've thought...

While Sunny Starscout is in town running her smoothie stand, Izzy Moonbow (left home alone in her marefriend Sunny's house, which was definitely the first of many mistakes in this chain of events) finds the now-reactivated Alicorn Amulet buried within Sunny's closet of artifacts and knick-knacks.

Predictably, chaos ensues.

Cause Bridlewood has ruins that Sunny would just love to visit.
