When Rainbow Dash invites her friends over for a slumber party, things start out great. Truth or Dare, eventually starts out as their first game, but even the smallest dares can turn into something disastrous and uncalled for...

Little AppleDash/ Soarin Dash except the AppleDash is not romantic...Okay, not too romantic. more like blushing, staring, and gawking (coughcoughsexualthemesincludedcoughcough) at each other. Soarin Dash is a different story...

There was no denying that Rainbow Dash and Lightning Dust made the best middle school badminton team, so it surprises no one when they decide to switch gears to volleyball. But with tensions between them already at its peak, an incident at their new high school's girls volleyball tryouts gets them both removed from being able to play on the team. In order to claim back their stolen prides, the girls swear to beat each other at the beach volleyball doubles tournament at the end of the school year.
There's just one problem: Rainbow Dash needs a partner.
Enter Applejack, a hardworking farmer with natural athleticism that could prove very useful in a volleyball game. But with her family dangerously close to losing their apple farm to a pair of flashy supermarket-owning brothers, will she be able to take enough time off to play? And if so, will Rainbow Dash and Applejack be able to cooperate as a team long enough to pull off a win against Lightning Dust?

WARNING: Some AppleDash inferences. If you don't like the pairing, don't read stuff containing it. But there isn't that much and the story's not really about romance anyway. I guess that I just really wanted to write something about Applejack and Rainbow Dash working together instead of competing... They would be such a great team...

**THIS TAKES PLACE IN THE SAME UNIVERSE AS THE EQUESTRIA GIRLS MOVIE** (Just a few years earlier before the whole plot of the movie happened and at this time, Sunset Shimmer doesn't have any power over her classmates yet.)

In an attempt to help her school's losing soccer team finally bond, team manager Twilight Sparkle takes the whole team to a ranch over spring break. Already uncomfortable being around her otherwise entirely male team, Rainbow Dash is dragged along reluctantly for the ride. However, finding herself in sunny, open fields, Rainbow realizes she is quickly falling for one of the farm hands, a freckle-faced blonde teeming with southern charm. AppleDash, human. Rated T for use of language and suggestive themes.

Applejack has brushed her mane, put a ribbon on her hat, and there's a sway in her step. Most ponies just want to know who the special pony is.

Rainbow Dash doesn't buy it. Love is mushy, and AJ isn't mushy. Love means liking somepony more than her friends, and AJ would never like another pony more than Dash. Love means missing a game of horseshoes to go tell a pony that she's in love with them, and if there is one thing Dash is sure of, it's that AJ is not going to miss that game... no matter what Applejack thinks about it.

Each person on Earth has a copy in Equestria. It's the same the other way around. That means there are six girls who, may or may not have met, are the perfect friends for each other. Brooke Bennett is your perfect, unordinary teen. She also has distinct rainbow hair and magenta eyes. When her life takes a terrible turn she does the worst thing someone could do! Use a magical mirror and switch places with her ponyself. Now a wingless pegasus and a head in the clouds human have to survive stuck as they are. That is until...

This is not your typical love story. This is not a story where upon realizing my feelings for Rainbow Dash, I confess my love to her and she confesses back and we live happily ever after. This is a story about my infatuation with my best friend, and my constant fear of letting that secret out. Love isn't always an easy path to take, and it sure as hell ain't no sunshine and fairy tales.

Having Rainbow Dash for a marefriend has its downsides. Sometimes, she does stupid things. Stupid, dangerous things. Following Rainbow's most recent needless - and particularly risky - stunt, Applejack tries to talk some sense into her.

A snippet of an existing Appledash relationship. Takes place exactly two days after the events of 'A Canterlot Wedding'.
