You work in the Ponyville Weather Control office, and on your rare day off, your hooves decide to take you to the library. There you come face-to-face with the unicorn you met in passing at her welcome party, Twilight Sparkle.

As you spend more and more time at the Ponyville Library, things between you two get... interesting...

After living in a state of depression you realize the only source of happiness is in the show My Little Pony. But sadly, cartoons don't love back. It is a term you have grown to hate. But after a freak accident in Equestria, will your life turn out for the better? All you need is a bundle of joy - or six - to show you the right path.

With a history of theft and deception behind you, you make the best for yourself through possessions belonging to others. Or, rather, the possessions that once belonged to others. With no need for a steady line of work, you keep yourself afloat through your occupation as a master thief.

But when a heist goes awry, you're left at the mercy of a simple apple farmer...

Uh...I really don't know what to say here. Compared to Rejuvenate, I planned this one out WAY more, so hopefully you won't find it as sloppy.

Won't be incredibly saucy. At the most, I'm predicting this one to be about the [Tender] rating.

As one of Equestria's more popular writers, you relish the chance to get away and work on your newest romance novel and some side projects, when you meet a particular yellow pegasus who happens to be a fan of your work and oddly enough, you're a fan of hers as well... She just wishes you weren't, because "It's so embarrassing..."

And here it is, the last in my "Mane 6" stories, By a Fireplace! This story, like all the others, takes place during all the others and has its own little niche in the timeline. I've had a lot of questions about the continuity of my stories, but please bare with me. I've got a plan, a timeline, and graphs.

Anyway, about the story itself... Hmm... Well, nothing really special or no warning I should post... This should be a pretty tame story, but if there's a development even I didn't expect, I'll make sure to put it here.

[2nd Person Perspective]

"Look out for number one."

That was the way of life back in Clopton. A city where survival was a daily battle.

Having made a few too many enemies, you move to Ponyville with only a bag of bits, the tools of your trade, and a couple jackets to cover the scars you've accumulated in the past. You don't trust anypony as far as you can throw them, but can you mesh well enough into the little country town to support yourself?

It'd probably be easier without that colorful maned pegasus bothering you.

[Second person narrative]
[You + Rainbow Dash/Fluttershy]

You're a fast-flying, teenage pegasus colt with dreams of glory! Having just transferred to a new boarding school in Cloudsdale, you're looking forward to meeting new friends, joining the wingball team, and finally hanging out with fellow pegasi. This year's going to be so awesome!

Except you're the only pegasus around without a cutie mark. And everyone already seems to think you're a total loser, before they've even met you. And your only friend can hardly stand up for herself, much less you. And you're convinced a certain rainbow-maned mare is out to ruin your life. Yep, awesome.

This is the story of your high school days at Wingbury Academy.

(2nd Person Story)

You were starstruck by her. It's like you were under a magical love spell. But there's no way you can tell her your feelings. I mean, eventually she'll move to perform in another town, and you'll forget all about her.

...Right?

When you have nothing left to live for, sometimes it takes an otherworldly person (or pony) to show you how much life is truly worth. Presented in 2nd person. Special thanks to Lotso for proofreading.

EDIT: Sorry about the ridiculous wait guys. School, finals, etc. really make time fly. Expect more updates in the next couple weeks, though. Writing always was a stress-reliever for me.
