Welp, here I am, somehow stuck in Equestria and living with Fluttershy. I thought it was just going to be a normal day, but Fate said "NOPE" and sucked me here. Pretty nice either way, considering the world I came from really wasn't cooperating with everybody else. By and by, I might as well follow the format as the other stories here and say how the hell I got here and how I'm in this current situation.

It was a long cold life, but a soldier must carry on. But when this shocked soldier is pulled away from a fatal situation by none other than Rainbow Dash: he must overcome his cold hardheartedness and care for the Pegasus that unmistakably saved his life.

Little is known about Fluttershy's past. Aside from her days in flight camp with Rainbow Dash, her friends know almost nothing about her foalhood. But it's on a lonely night when Twilight Sparkle finds a gentle yellow pegasus crying by herself, and learns the shocking truth about Fluttershy's parents.

After a devastating Third World War, a planet nearly identical to Earth was discovered hiding on the other side of the sun. Desperate to bring hope back to a war-torn world, all nations united to send a manned mission to investigate the new planet. But when the old war pilot sent to explore it arrives, he will learn that there is more to this new world than anyone could have imagined, and that it holds some secrets that will change both worlds forever.

The Cenotaph did more than power the Iron Legion. It also held a small continent and its inhabitants in another dimension. When it was destroyed, it opened the way to this new land. The Staff of Qa-Len powered the portal. All that was left was a catalyst.

On the other side, Discord played a flugelhorn. What could possibly go wrong?

Cave is a sixteen-year old, airsoft-playing, anti-brony who constantly gets annoyed by all of the conversations he hears regarding My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic from his friends who recently became bronies. As if things couldn't get any worse, he suffers a mysterious bike accident while on his way to an airsoft game and ends up in the fresh-air smelling, sugary sweet land known as Equestria. Now, he must find out how he got there, especially a way to escape the land of ponies, or else he just may be stuck there forever! As much as he is very ticked off to be stranded in his worst nightmare, he may, at some point, realize that his brony friends may be right about the show after all. But for now, it's him, his airsoft gun, a bunch of girly ponies, and one heck-of-an adventure.

NOTE: The story takes place BEFORE the return of the Crystal Empire. Characters will be added as soon as they appear in the story.

This story takes place immediately after the "Death" of Preston J. Cole in the short story; The Impossible Life and the Possible Death of Preston J. Cole, written by bestselling author Eric Nylund. The story is from the novel, Halo Evolutions Volume 1.

I highly recommend that you read this short story, so that you may better understand Cole's back-story. Otherwise this crossover may be slightly confusing to the readers.

Also, the drawing of Cole on the left depicts him from his younger days. In the story he is over seventy years old, so as you can tell the picture is not up to date, but it was the best I could find. If anyone knows of a better, high resolution image of him, or his ship I would appreciate knowing about it. Pretty much anything that you will find will be fan-made, so that doesn't matter.

Skydancer is getting pretty tired of being a young earth pony with a name better suited for a pegasus. Lieutenant Green would love to finish his deployment safely, but first he has to figure out where he is and, just as importantly, why all the Afghans look like colorful little horses. How can a misnamed colt and a misplaced Soldier help each other when they don't even speak the same language?
