It's almost Hearth's Warming Eve, and everypony is looking forward to spending the holiday season at home with their families. Everypony, that is, except Scootaloo. Her two best friends are about to learn that sometimes friendship is the best gift you can ever give.

There's nothing worse than feeling alone during the holidays, something that Scootaloo is all to familiar with. She knows that she has no family to celebrate with, save for a mother so drunk off cider she doesn't realize her daughter's heartbreak.

This is the filly's reality- the harsh card fate has dealt her. But this Hearth's Warming Eve, as she treks home through the brisk air all by herself, a certain rainbow-maned pegasus will show her the true meaning of family.

The events of the Wonderbolt Academy have played out and Rainbow Dash is in the stretch to achieving her dream but still has a hard time getting a certain erstwhile friend out of her mind. After taking a few minutes to contemplate things, she decides that she's been given enough second chances in her life to see to it that somepony else gets one as well.

Rated Teen for some language later on, though nothing extremely vulgar.

A sociological experiment gone horribly right leaves Twilight on the verge of the hardest decision of her life.

Hey, everyone. OtterMatt here. Just for the record, I’m not coming back to FimFic. Not ever. I’m sorry to say it, but my life has moved on, as it were, and writing just isn’t a part of it anymore. That being said, I love these stories of mine very much. There’s a lot of myself that I put into them, and at least a couple people have told me that these stories meant a lot to them as well. So, for those people, and for anyone else who enjoys my work in the future, I’m charging my friend Spabble here with curating my completed stories. It was the happiest I had been my entire life.
I was able to forget and move on. For the rest of my adolescent years I lived out my life in a satisfied stupor; careless to the rest of the world and only focusing on my friends and my job—most of the time. For three years I lived content and lazy in the beautiful town of Ponyville. I didn't expect that my life would be so full of adventure and fame. I only expected to escape my old life, but instead found something even more grand and beautiful than a mere vacation from my suffering.
I wanted more than anything to keep it from all falling apart.

Fluttershy's always hidden a secret from her friends. It's not a horrible, dark secret. In fact, it's nothing out of the ordinary, at least to everypony else: she's got an older brother.

Her brother, though, has always seems to best her when it comes to, well, everything. Tempers flare when he visits Ponyville, and Fluttershy finds herself wondering if she'll ever manage to be as good as him.

Twilight learns the hard way that certain priorities will always outclass others, and the obligations she has to her friends should always come first.

Rainbow Dash finally takes notice of Scootaloo and brings her up under her own wing. With Rainbow Dash's new support, Scootaloo learns to be more than she had ever dreamed. But will the relationship she has just gained turn out to be more than they can handle? She quickly learns that not everyone's true self can be perceived.

When Twilight and the rest of the wingless ponies thought it would be neat to cheer on Rainbow Dash at the Best Young Flyer's competition, they may have overlooked some minor details. Law details. Long story short, the mane six are now on the run, charged for terrorism in a locked down city. Twilight's in jail, and to make matters worse, they only have three days to get her out before the cloud spell wears off. It's hard enough making bail for acts against the city, but it's a lot harder when the only one's can help you are fugitives.
