Twilight Sparkle succeeds in finishing Starswirl's mysterious spell, but just as her friends have rediscovered their true callings Celestia informs her of a new great purpose. Twilight and the other Element Bearers are to travel far beyond Equestria's borders, perform a spell together, and once again seal away an ancient evil that threatens not only Equestria, but all of Equis. Of course Twilight and her friends have vanquished many a foe in the past, so this seems simple enough.

But it's not. Celestia isn't telling the entire story. There is more to Starswirl's spell - and Twilight's destiny - than the six bearers have been told.

Thrust deep into an unknown world with little direction, Twilight and her friends will soon find that there's more to Celestia and Luna's shared past than they could have ever thought possible... and that the Equestria they call home may already be far beyond saving.

Long ago, the cruel God of Chaos Discord ruled over the world. The other Gods overthrew him and Sealed him in the deepest Hell of the prison Tartarus, then waged war for his empty throne. The Goddess of the Sun Celestia emerged victorious, then Sealed six more Dark Gods in six more Hells of Tartarus. The remaining Gods ruled over the world’s lands under Celestia, and as High Princess her reign brought an age of peace.

A thousand years after Celestia’s defeat of Nightmare Moon, the Goddess of the Night, the mortal peoples hold the festival of the Summer Sun Celebration to commemorate her victory. However, on the eve of the Celebration a mysterious organization releases Nightmare Moon from her prison. In response, Celestia tasks her young apprentice, the sorceress Twilight Sparkle, with preventing the unsealing of any more Dark Gods. With the aid of her own apprentice and her five strange new friends, Twilight begins her mission to put an end to the return of the seven Sealed Gods- especially Discord, the dreaded Lord of Chaos.

The Titans' Orb is a magical stone created by the Titans of Harmony to protect Equestria from otherworldly threats. After a vengeful demigod breaks loose from Tartarus, the Orb is shattered into six pieces and sent to Planet Earth, scattering across the globe. Twilight and her friends are sent to retrieve it at once, for all of Equus is now in grave danger.

Meanwhile on Earth, there lives a boy named Callum, recently fatherless and enduring the torment of an abusive family. He is soon to discover that the fictional characters from his beloved T.V show, are not so fictional.

Alongside his newfound companions, he is soon to embark upon a great adventure.

After many years of knowing each other, Spike finally decides to tell Rarity of his true feelings for her. But it doesn't go as planned. Can Rarity fix the mistake she has made? Or will she have to live with her decision for the rest of her life, knowing it may well kill Spike?

This is a story of Spike's sixth birthday party in Ponyville a total of seven years after the defeat of Nightmare Moon by Twilight Sparkle and her friends. Spike has spent the whole week before hand planning this party just so he could tell Rarity how he feels about her. He spends the whole day at Sweet Apple Acres getting ready with Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Twilight. When the time of the party comes around instead of finding their friend Rarity politely knocking on the door they are confronted by the realization that she is kidnapped and Spike is only one the Kidnappers want for the ransom drop off. Will our dragon manage to save his fashionable fashionista? Will Spike ever get to say what he wanted to Rarity? Will Rarity figure out who kidnapped her? What will every pony think of the background relationships included in this story?

Spike is having trouble trying to confess to Rarity. And hes being plagued by the same nightmare night after night. After getting lost hunting Gems, trying to clear his head, it seems Luna is willing to help with the aid of an old friend. Turns out Spike isn't the first dragon to have fallen for a mare.

Not just stepped out or gone away on short notice, but completely disappeared, leaving her work unfinished, her friends mystified and, for some reason, her hair all over the ground outside the Carousel Boutique. Without a clue to her whereabouts, faced with rumours of a dragon stalking the town and troubled by a mysterious work of magic, Rarity's friends face up to the possibility that they may never see her again.

And then they find her...
