Princess Celestia and Princess Luna have always lived a life of luxury, however what they haven't had was a life of the average, to be able to walk, talk, joke and play with their subjects without restrictions, however after that may change, just for a little. *Note* The Alicorns, aren't OC's, their here for a visual aid, just read the story.

Poor Princess Luna. She's spent the last thousand years trapped in an insane version of herself, and then further trapped on the moon-- not the best place to stay up on one's social and diplomatic skills.

The night princess has studied hard and tried everything she could to ensure that she's up-to-date with normal protocol and everything the modern age has to offer, but old habits die hard. When faced with the prospect of putting her hard-studied skills to the test, Luna is unsure of herself-- and flagging or failing now could set her back even further than she already is.

Perhaps the advice and companionship of a few members of her faithful royal guards could help Princess Luna to relax before her big Not-Nightmare-Night-At-All Banquet? ...Or perhaps that could be the most disastrous thing that has happened to Luna since her return from the moon.

After a 1000-year condemnation on the moon, Luna has rehabilitated her position as Princess of the night. Princess Celestia is glad to see the connection between Luna and the night harmonized as well as the connection they share themselves. But there is another bond that Luna must take initiative on: socialization

A slumber party is a decision Luna makes on her endeavor, so are the six equines as special guests. With aid from Celestia, Luna just might make her first step.

This isn't necessarily my first attempted fanfic, but it's my first completed one. I hope you readers will enjoy; criticism is appreciated.

At first glance, Princess Luna's charioteers might appear to be little more than Royal Guards dressed in festive apparel for Nightmare Night. However, there is far more to the story than that - the Night Guards once played a pivotal role in the history of Equestria, and have sacrificed more for their beloved princess than most ponies are even aware of.

Luna must engage in a traditional activity. Normally, she would not object. She knows from traditions, and embraces nearly all the oldest ones, from diction to the Royal Canterlotian Voice. But this galls her. She must answer suitors, the finest of the nobles seeking her hoof in marriage, while she has other ideas entirely. To that end, she unleashes the most venemous and caustic comments her ancient tongue can muster.

Luna has a lot of free time at night, so she decides to go for a stroll around the castle before heading off to wake Celestia up to raise the sun. But she get sidetracked...

Also, just a warning, there are some... strong implications, when it comes to the ruder side of life. So, if you are likely to be offended by anything of a sexual nature then you probably shouldn't read this.

EDIT: It's 2015 now. I had forgotten about this story until recently and I've decided I hate it, particularly the ending. I wanted Celestia to be playing a shock prank on Luna and that's what I wrote. I regret it, I hate it, but I won't delete it. There's no point in that.

Luna's life since her return to the world has been more than she could have hoped for; her sister welcomed her back with open hooves and has done everything in her power to make Luna happy. On top of that, the Moon Princess has even made some friends in Twilight Sparkle and the ponies from Ponyville. Luna is the happiest she's been in a very long time, and she can't help but hope that her life has seen the end of its trials.

However... not all remnants of the past are willing to stay there.

One night, high in the mountain capital of Canterlot, Princess Luna is confronted by four ponies who all share a very deep connection to her; and the past that Luna thought was buried forever is suddenly unearthed and threatens not only her new life, but also the lives of Twilight Sparkle and her friends, as well as that of Princess Celestia.

Hatred has come to Equestria, and its power may be more than even the magic of Friendship can endure.

Everyone has heard of the armored guards that Luna handpicks herself, their armor designed, and their wings enchanted, to resemble that of a bat. This story follows the misadventures of the only unicorn to be enrolled in this service, 'Bad-Luck' Blitz Comet, a rather unlucky sonova- Er.... Pony.

(Writer's Note: A close second for the title was 'The Misadventures of the Nightguardspony', and I'm trying something different here. Comedy! Or an attempt at it. Really, it probably won't be that funny. Humorous maybe.... Hopefully. This is going to end up as a literary train wreck, isn't it?)

Why wasn't Luna at the Grand Galloping Gala? Because she didn't want to be there, of course! But not attending has its own consequences, and now Luna's expected to throw a party for Twilight and her friends. With Pinkie Pie's help, can the Princess pull it off?
