One day, Celestia had woken up as a spider. A rather curious event, but one the Princess had approached with a surprisingly calm attitude. She'd decided to take no further action than that of informing her subjects of the fact that she'd changed, and to simply continue her life.

In a rather unfortunate turn of events, the Changeling Queen herself, seeing as she was not considered to be one of Equestria's citizens, had not been informed of the occurrence. This led to a rather awkward situation when she met Celestia for the first time after the transformation. Celestia found that encounter to be quite entertaining. Chrysalis didn't.

Five years ago, I screwed up. When I learned my daughter and Princess Luna were together, I tried to stop them. I ended up hurting my daughter, losing the love and respect of my family, and even driven out of Canterlot.

Double Time is a changeling. Years ago, she fought the Crystal Empire in the war in the north. Now she's Cadence's prisoner.

Together, they'll learn something new about life, and rulership, and what it means to love.

What began as a party between a student and her beloved teacher ended up becoming the moment when Twilight's heart broke into a thousand pieces. She had done it; Celestia had replaced Twilight. There was no pillow fortress big enough to hide all the pain inside her, so she decided to run away and find a place to hide from her miserable life. But after her friends found her, Twilight decided to tell Celestia a couple of things.

Celestia had truly believed she was right in her decision. Too bad belief in being right did not actually make you right.

Author's Note: Before you read this, please be aware that this story runs on the basis that the world reacts in a wildly over-exaggerated way to the idea of Cozy Glow being imprisoned in Tartarus. This is a parody just as much as it is a vent-fic.

Twilight and Shining Armor have a little sister named Light Step. Everypony tells Light Step how lucky she is to be related to such great heroes.

Light Step wishes she could smother them both.

On one morning, without explanation, Princess Celestia woke up as a giant spider. Her guards, her sister, her once student Twilight and the rest of her ponies and other creatures of Equestria were rather shocked at the fact that such a transformation had taken place in her.

She didn't seem to mind it.

Sunset waited outside the assembly hall, gazing down at her hands. Her mind was going over the spell again and again, remembering what the Princess had said, so long ago.
Behind the doors she could hear, even feel, the rumble of conversations inside the large room. No doubt everyone there knew what they wanted to say and do to her.

When Sunset Shimmer realized that the real reason the school had acted as it had was because of her past actions—and her willingness to pretend they had never happened—she decided to put an end to the whole thing.
