However, because the two have enjoyed each other’s company so much, they’ve spent very little time preparing for this fateful night since their own fateful night a few days prior.

On a calm and snowy night, just a few days before Hearth's Warming, Spike decides to check up on Twilight to see if she's doing okay.

Twilight has been through much hardship recently, but thankfully, over the past year she's gotten much better since. However, with fears still lingering in Spike's mind, he wants to be absolutely certain that Twilight's improved well-being stays that way.

And he'll do it by doing what he does best at. By being right by her side. There for her. Always.

Spike has been the loyal protector of Twilight, through pen and blade, but when she sends him on a mission too dangerous even for him, he returns missing an arm. Twilight must come to realize what she truly feels for her dragon.

How often have we been invited out, and yet, left alone? Spike knows the pain of being alone at a party, and apparently, so does Princess Luna. What will the two learn about each other as they get progressively drunk throughout the night?

Spike's dating life, though uneventful, takes a blow after saving Fluttershy's life. Why? Because she's threatening every mare he comes into contact with! The issue is Spike doesn't like her back, and Rarity's becoming concerned.

Will Spike be able to survive Fluttershy's craziness? Will his recent injury allows him to finally score the mare of his dreams, Rarity? Will the insanity and absurdity of it all render Spike with a conclusion different from what he was expecting?
