He was just a man, who lost everything, but in the cold hug of death, a second chance is given to him and now he will make sure to enjoy it, while evading isekai tropes.

Jesse thought he hit the jackpot... a job offering him a month of work and living arrangements? Being between cities and in need of the income, he pounced at the opportunity.

However, shortly after arriving at the listed address and going in courtesy of the key waiting there... he finds himself part of a deal he never really signed.

When Sam opened his eyes, ready to start his first morning as a college student, the last thing he expected was to find himself in an unfamiliar bedroom, in the equally unfamiliar form of Princess Celestia.

Now trapped in a body teeming with an enormous amount of power and an equally enormous set of responsibilities and worries, Sam needs to get to the bottom of things before Equestria's enemies realize Celestia is not herself and take the advantage.

Jai Young is 20 fresh out of his parents house and happy to be away from home. Moving out was the best thing he'd ever done with all of the constant fighting at home. Despite moving out and landing a pretty good job as a cook at an upscale restaurant he feels; out of place. The sense of displacement doesn't last too long though.
