I alone now hold the fate of my people in my hooves against the humans who want nothing more than to destroy us for the so called atrocities we have committed against them. I've lost my friends one way or another. My family. My fellow Princesses.

I have but one duty and that is, reluctantly, to see that we are shown mercy.

Twilight went to take her entrance exam for Celestia's school for gifted unicorns, and she had a surge. But when the Princess of the sun shows up, all Twilight can think of is getting away. The look of concern for those she transformed was too much. In a flash of light, the little filly disappears with one thought on her mind.

"I've disappointed them all."

Princess Luna discovers a mysterious garden, but her sister, Celestia, does not wish her to go there. In The Garden is a rather odd statue of a "Homo sapien". Luna ends up opening a portal to Earth by accident. The people to come through the portal all seem very nice at first, but soon corruption and greed from the humans take over, causing Anti-brony suicide bombers to invade Equestria, the capture and interrogation of Lauren Faust, Russia to invade and attempt to take over Equestria, and Discord to be freed. Will Luna be able to handle these? Will humans and ponies be able to get along?

The star system Omega Centauri was just another oddity on a map to scientists in the not too distant future. However when they found the star was orbiting an earth-sized, earth-like planet instead of a black hole as its motion had suggested, a mission was scrambled to investigate this most unusual of celestial behaviors.

Hamstrung by politics, and nearly crippled before it began, the 'Lone Ranger' mission was reduced to just one crew member and left to his own devices.

Ten years ago, the Griffon Empire opened a portal to a strange new world and tried to annex it. In the peace settlement that followed they lost control of the province containing the portal. Since then, the Griffonian Democratic Republic had been completely isolated, surrounded on all sides by a hostile empire. Now, for the first time, a visitor had been allowed.

Celestia has a dangerous creature held in the deepest of Canterlot's high-security dungeons. It can create ponies (with full backgrounds and histories) with it's strange and often-times prophetic powers. The Princess does her best to keep it under wraps, but its only a matter of time before it's "creativity" will get out of control.

The legal situation of copyrighted works is one of incredible contention.

It's even worse when it turns out the fictional is alive.

2000 years ago, Equestria was met with Nightmare, the living incarnation of the cursed sword, Soul Edge.

By that, you mean 'a guy went to a convention in an awesome costume and ended up getting bit in the tail for it'.

He was defeated, and sealed in stone for all of eternity.
