After their defeat at the Battle of the Bands, the Dazzlings retreat into self-confinement to lick their wounds whilst they reassess their entire strange and fated lives from their beginnings in Equestria, up to the present. However, learning how to cope with the world and each other—living an immortal life in a powerless body—might just be more than any of them can bear.

Lines are blurred in this dark, historical, novelesque sirens origin story of innocence lost, heartache, betrayal, hope, and of course, beautiful music.

Months have passed since The Dazzlings defeat and their life is progressively getting worse and worse. With a stubborn leader who refuses to accept help from anyone their lives would seem to fade away into nothing. But one man will change that. One man will alter their course for the better. But will it be for the better of the world?

The infamous battle of the bands brought plenty of change to Canterlot High School and our protagonist, for better or for worse. As his relationship with Sunset grows sour, he attempts to start a new chapter in his life. To do this, he turns to none other than the recently defeated "Dazzlings," even though he is almost certain the decision will end badly.

After their defeat at the Battle of the Bands, the Dazzlings lost practically everything that mattered to them. They couldn't sing anymore and they had lost their control over everyone at Canterlot High. Still, this hasn't deterred Adagio and Aria from trying to regain their powers and exact their revenge on the Rainbooms. As for Sonata, she has found herself in a odd situation. A new transfer student who is unaware of anything that happened has captured her attention with his heroics. Now she must decide whether to help Adagio and Aria get what they want, or try to move forward and better herself.

It was far from glamorous, in fact they found it humiliating, but at least it was a life. In fact out of all of them, Aria found some level of fame through series of Internet video she started. A level that led her to an encounter that would change her life in ways she never would have imagined.

This story is a sequel to A Dazzling Reformation

So much has happened during Spring Break. Sunset Shimmer found The Dazzlings living under a bridge, people found love, and The Dazzlings decided to become reformed. At first, they weren't going to go back to school.

But time has changed, and so have they. The Rainbooms and The Dazzlings came up with a plan to prove to the school that the three ex-sirens have changed, and they are determined to make it work. Sounds simple, right?

But what about Sonata's little problem...

I had a decent life after the Fall Formal and the Battle of the Bands. Then some stupid Lifeinvader account ruined everything. It only took one post for everyone to be whispering about who it was, two for the school to blame me, three for my friends to abandon me.
