After a large number of accidents around town happen, the residents of ponyville figure out that it was all done by a certain red and blue haired pegasus pony.
After being sentenced with exile to the moon by Celestia herself, Storm Chaser escaped from the prison, only to have nowhere to go.

Feeling no other choice left to him, he leaves Ponyville and his happy life behind, to follow a rumor to the East, but he can't help but feel like he's being followed.

Storm soon finds his own Guardian and eventually the entire world is at stake, as the heroes are dealing with their emotions for one another, the fate of the world hangs on their decisions...

It is the year 2038, and the Earth is slowly being consumed by a space-borne monstrosity dubbed the Black Tide, which is using nanotechnology to remake the planet into something hideously alien.

Twilight Sparkle prides herself on following and sticking to her plans, but she isn't as organized as everypony thinks. Her master list, the plan for her life, has an item that she has never been able to check off; and the time has come to fix that. How hard can it be? All she needs to do is go on a date and get a kiss.

After she is summoned to Canterlot Castle in the dead of night, Twilight Sparkle struggles to figure out the reasoning behind her teachers mysterious request. However, to her surprise, the Sovereigns motives were much more emotionally touching than she thought, and as a result Twilight is forced to question the veracity of their relationship as student and teacher.

Twilight couldn't be happier for her friends. Rainbow Dash and Applejack have gotten together after their mishap in the Everfree Forest. Big Macintosh and Fluttershy have finally hit it off. And even her new friend Octavia has even found love with Vinyl Scratch! The only exclusions are Pinkie and Rarity, who are too preoccupied with parties or dresses to even care!

But...what about her? What about Twilight...who feels as if she's missing out?

There's little she can do about it for right now though, as Princess Luna herself has requested she help deal with a problem in Manehatten. Somepony has been causing serious trouble in the city that never sleeps, and Twilight isn't going to believe who's behind it all!

Can she let go of the past, look past the facade, and see a pony who's hurt, broken, and afraid?

Can she save a mare who everypony has deemed a 'Phony', a 'Failure', and a 'Dead End of Life'?

Will she hear the cries of help from a mare she thought she knew...and take a Leap of Faith?

Twilight is excruciatingly confused about her friendship with Rainbow Dash. Why is Rainbow Dash acting this way, and even a better question... Why is she acting this way? What could it possibly be that is causing these feelings to surface?

Applejack, the element of honesty, discovers that she is starting to have feelings for a dear friend of hers. Will her friend respond to her signs and acts of love and will she feel the same way? This is the story of two mares and how they became more than friends.
