After reading a book by Spitfire's personal trainer, Rainbow Dash decides that the best way to get closer to her ultimate goal of joining the Wonderbolts is to add strength training to her practices by having one of her friends ride her. However, when she decides that Twilight Sparkle is just the mare for the job, the pegasus gets a bit more than she bargained for.

The world of Equestria is very different when you don't have nigh-omnipotent gods and goddesses running about. Without Celestia's guiding light, the Earth Ponies, Pegasi, and Unicorns would probably have never guessed at their gifts. Discord, being the embodiment of Chaos, would work through nature and change, meaning no controlling the weather. Without Luna, the world would be a much darker, scarier place. Oh, and by the way: these aren't your regular little ponies. There will be bipedal ponies with hands, blood and death, and some romance in this story, so if any of those turn you away, well, there's the door.

Trixie, having recently lost all her possessions during a certain Ponyville incident, manages to find a lucky job as a performer for Equestria's most anticipated holiday. While there, she discovers something precious to her survived her caravan's destruction... and is currently being held by a familiar face.

Now, Trixie's determined to retrieve what's rightfully hers. But little does she know that her attempts will set off a chain of events, leading to what could either be the greatest or the worst thing that's ever happened to her.

Will most likely be a one-shot, but whatever. This is my first fan-fic so criticism would be appreciated.

...I was lazy with my last upload this one is much better, and I'm ashamed to have ever let eyes view my last story... ...But anyway I fixed it up, rewatched Boast Busters and I feel confident in this upload... ...Though ! am likely horribly wrong... ...Anyway "Twilight, feeling guilty about leaving Trixie with nothing, not even the cape on her back, starts to realize there may be other feeling behind her guilt." and that's all I could come up with...

A/N: A couple things to note.

Firstly, this IS a Multi-Chapter story, and I'd appreciate any constructive criticism towards it. I want this to be the best it possibly can.

Secondly, I'm open to any ideas anyone may have with the direction of this story. your suggestion will be considered if appropriate.

Lastly, The tag may say sad, but if anything, the story will only be a little so. If you're turned off by sad fics, give it a chance at least before making judgement.
