Chapter 1- Why does Whooves know?

Chapter 1
"Hey Spike, do you remember 'The Great and Powerful Trixie'?" Spike looked up at twilight and said "you mean that flashy showmare?" Didn't we run her out of town after Snips and Snails brought that Ursa Minor to town?" twilight scratched at her neck a bit and said "yeah her... I just kind of feel bad that we ruined her show and left her with nothing...not even her cape or her hat... I just feel so bad about it and I think I should do something about it for all we know she might not have had a house other than that trailer that she left here... Do you think I should try to help her Spike?" Spike started rolling around on the the floor laughing "Hahaha! Help Trixie? Hahaha! No way! I would rather not see Rarity for a day than help Trixie!" Twilight let out a sigh and said "I guess you're right Spike... but I still feel bad, I think I should at least ask around to see if anypony knows if knows what has happened to her..." Spike, still rolling on the floor said "whatever Twi."
As Twilight walked about Ponyville Square she thought to her self "Derpy! she delivers mail all over the place maybe shes delivered something to Trixie!" She immediately set out to find her. "Now were could she be? Derpy Hooves She was never where you expected her to be or where you least expected, she was a tricky one to find, and it's always best to let her come to you, but this is urgent I need to find her Now! I know she may be at the post office!"
When Twilight had reached the Ponyville post office she was surprised to see The Doctor looking around as if he were looking for for somepony that was supposed to be there, Twilight guessing to herself thought it was Derpy, she knew that Derpy and The Doctor definitely weren't strangers to each other but she didn't know why The Doctor would be looking for her... She decied to approch him and ask if hes seen Derpy.
"Hey Whooves, have you seen Derpy anywhere?" "Sorry Miss. Sparkle I was actually just wondering that same thing... I havent seen her since she set off deliver a package to a Miss. 'Great and Powerful Trixie' I'm not exactly sure who that is but the name rings a bell..." "Wait did you just say she was delivering to the Great and Powerful Trixie?" "Yes." Really? Wow thats exactly who I was going to ask Derpy if she had delevered a pakage to recently!" "You should head towards Fillydelphia than, thats where Derpy went off to, Trixie is bound to still be there." Twilight's face lit up and she said "Thanks Doctor." and he simply noded and went "Mhm." and Twlight started to run off, back to her library.
Back at her library Twilight came up to Spike and said "Hey Spike I think I have located Trixie..." Spike looked up at Twilight puzzled and asked "Are you really still on this Twi?" Twilight sighed and said "I just feel so bad that we left her with nothing when she was only boasting, I would feel different if she ran around murdering ponies but she caused no real harm I would say that Snips and Snails put our town in more danger than she ever did." Spike laughed a bit and said "you've got a point but still, Trixie of all people, you even boxed up her hat and cape as if she was going to come back for them you should have known she wasn't gonna come back for them though. But I think there lying next to that one thingymabober that you hooked Pinkie up to when you were investigating the Pinkie Scence." Twilight walked over to the window and gazed blankly as Celestia's sun begin to set. "Spike, can you fetch me that box... Please." Spike rolled his eyes and and went to go fetch the box that housed Trixie's hat and cape.
Twilight had gotten out a small letter opener and started at the magic tape that had kept the box closed. As it opened a familiar scent hit Twilight like a suckerpunch, mint and lavender, it smelled just as strong as when she had enclosed them within that box. She had placed a magical seal on the box to keep out mold, so that wasn't suprizing, but the scent was intoxicating, it brought memories, vivid memories of the day she had drove Trixie off, memories of the day that Trixie had shown up, that smell had always lingered when Trixie was near by, Twilight's heart skiped a beat and she remembered that the remains of Trixie's old trailer was placed in an alley near by, she decided to investigate but for now she would go to bed and continue her search tomorrow.
"Twilight, you fool why would you come sarching for me? Did you really think these simple items were special to me?" "But Trix-" "Hahahahaha!!! You really are stupid aren't you Twilight, you ruined me, it was you whom left me with nothing left me to die, left me alone with no self-confidence, I thought about giving up but I trudged on, I lived off the land I did what I needed to survive and here I am now, More succesful than I ever was, and you think I would accept a simple apology? And the return of my old worthless things? You really must be stupid! Hahahahaha!" "Trixie I-I..."
Twilight woke up crying, crying her eyes out, "Why do I want to help her why am I even thinking about this?" Twilight cried out. Not waking Spike but spooking Owlisiuos. "It was just a bad dream Twi, I just need to go just relax, and get back to sleep...
"Twilight! 'It's been so long! How have you been?" "Oh Trixie, I've been great, I'm suprised you recognized me so fast!" "Twilight how could I not recognize you, you made me into a new pony, after I came to Ponyvile I walked away a changed pony, After the humility of that it made me realize how much I boasted about things that were way out of my grasp. Twilight I can never repay you for every thing you've done for me. Would you like to come to my new apartment for some tea?" "Sure Trixie and I have a suprise for you when we get there!" "Okay Twi!"
When they had reached Trixie's apartment they went inside and Trixie started a pot, Twilight reached into her saddle bags and pulled out Trixie's old hat cape, Trixie just stared blankly in astonishment and said "M-my cape and my hat! Twilight I cannot thank you enough, th-these meant the world to my, I always thought about going back to Ponyville for them but I just couldn't muster the courage to ever even set foot in Ponyville again... I, I just can't thank you enough... Twilight even after I was so mean to you and all of your friends... You, you don't know how much this means to me... Twilight why don't you stay awile and make your self at home" Trixie began to slik closer and closer until she gripped Twilight in a warm embrace and began to gently kiss her cheek untill Twilight gave in and they fell to the ground in each others arms...
Twilight woke up from her dream Blushing feverously, and sweaty."What was that? why did I dream about that? I feel guilty about sending her off on her own. I-I-I don't love her do I, I can't love her. A mare loving another mare is that accepable? Would the Princess disapprove? It, it can't be that. It just can't be. I just need some time to think, and just find out why I am feeling this way, first I dream of her being even more cruel, like she was worse than ever before, and then I dreampt of her being a diffrent, more loving pony." The very thought of her dream made her blush furiously. She began to
pace about her library wondering if she really should head off to Fillydelphia to find Trixie, or try to ignore it, she debateted wtith her self for awile and she finaly decided to try to ignore it and carry on with her usual day but she could not get Trixie out of her mind, everywhere she went there was always something to remind her of Trixie one way or another.
"Hey Spike, I'm heading out okay?" "Oh, can I come?" "Sorry Spike, I'm just takeing a walk, I need a little bit of time alone..." "Are you sure?" "Yeah... I'm sure..." Twilight steped out side, the was a cool breeze, although it was the best of days for a walk she just still didn't feel right... the way she had left Trixie with nothing, and after her dream she couldn't help but wonder, "Am I in love, and if I am why Trixie? Why the flash showmare whom did nothing but boast and showoff? But her intoxicating smell and mastery of the illusion spell... They were all such impressive things about her, on the inside she wasn't all bad... But she must have had a reason to be such a showoff... I must find out from Trixie herself, any story or hear-say isnt good enough for me I need to know the truth!" Before Twilight knew it it was dark out, she had walked about Ponyville without stumbling into any of her friends. "Where is everypony today? I know Rarity is working on a dress for a 'very important' client in Canterlot, and Apple Jack had to bring a shipment of apples all the way to Trottingham, Rainbow was probably napping all day, and not even Celestia knows where Pinkie was... Also poor, poor Flutershy saw a scary looking blade of grass then turned her house into a fortress and still refuses to leave... We still haven't even found this 'grass of evil' but none of us knows what it looks like, exept Fluttershy of course..." Twilight bagan to yawn and thought "Wow I got nothing done today, I even forgot to check out Trixie's old trailer but I just can't stop thinking about Trixie, no matter what scenario I run through my mind none of them satisfy me, I just can't sastisfy my mind, oh I'm so flustered I can't even help but repeat myself in unclear thoughts... I need some sleep I need to just get some sleep...
"Umm... Trixie it has been a long time hasn't it?" Trixie just kept reading her book and muttered "Yes it has Twilight, since you ran me out of Ponyville..." "Trixie, I'm sorry I, I just couldn't stand the way you treated my friends, we, well I never meant to run you out of town I just wanted to teach you a lesson about how much you boasted... If it's any consolation I felt guilty ever since we ran you out... I couldn't even sleep right after we left you with nothing... And if its anything I have your old cape and hat..." Twilight wanted to escape but her heart wouldn't let her even try to move, she was at Trixie's command now as if she were a puppet, a puppet to Trixie's love...
No matter how hard she tried to deny it she realized that she was in love with Trixie,and the only way to put these feelings to rest she could not forget about Trixie. She had to find Trixie and confess her love. "This is bad, I'm in love and it's not only a mare, but it's a mare that probably hates me...
