It has been a couple of years after Discord's reformation. Despite this long period of time, Discord only just begins to realize how fragile his best friend's life is.
And there is nothing he can do to stop it.
All he can do is make a few promises.

Everypony feels the need to sit down and revisit their most cherished memories. One day Fluttershy comes down with the urge to reminisce about the best days of her life; and about the Draconequus who was part of them.

Family is something Discord has no real experience with. It's something he's never cared about or understood. After talking to Fluttershy about her own family, Discord decides to study the family dynamic in Ponyville.

A week later, he shows up at a picnic with a surprise: a teenage draconequus named Eris, who he says is his daughter...and Fluttershy is the mother!

Making Discord realize that he had to take other pony's feelings into consideration, not just hers, was harder than Fluttershy thought it would be.

A group of students from the School for Gifted Unicorns are given a chance to visit Celestia's royal garden and a curious filly decides to ask about a statue that's in their tour, where they all hear the story of how the spirit of chaos fell into a stone imprisonment for the third and final time.
