What follows is an update on the status of the investigation into the disappearance of the entire citizenship of Ponyville.

The following transcripts are of a journal found in Ponyville on April 16th of this year. The last recorded contact with the town had been 3 days prior, on the 13th, when a team under orders from Princess Celestia was sent to look into several missing pony reports in the area. When another group of investigators were sent on the 16th, the town was found deserted. The journal’s owner is believed to be the princess’s personal student, Twilight Sparkle. None of the town’s inhabitants have been located in the weeks since.

Well, almost anything. Some things just... aren't meant to be.

But together they make it through. One night, she keeps telling herself, it'll get easier. One night, they won't be alone anymore and they can be a family again. One night...

Until then, she'd just have to hold her flickering lantern a little closer.

Also, I plan on keeping this teen rated, but I can't be certain how this will turn out. I'll either try my best to censor most of what goes on, or I'll change the rating later on. Thou hast been forewarned.

The nobles of Canterlot are up to their old schemes again. Trying desperately to elevate themselves from mere nobles to that of royalty, the high council begins to pressure both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna into marriage. There is only one problem the two sisters face. As the law of old states, only a pony of nobility or foreign dignitary may be eligible to wed either of the princesses. The two sisters must now find a suitable candidate willing to adhere to the balance of power they had so desperately fought to maintain, or lose their right to rule.
Luckily, there seems to be a certain somebody that meets the strict criteria and who would also not abuse his position as royal consort to the Moon and Sun. Now, if only there was a way to convince him.

((I know I am terrible at writing synopsis, but please don't let that dissuade you from giving my story a chance. Rated T for light cussing, teasing, flirtatious mares, and provocative situations. May change later on depending on how I feel and the input from the readers.))

Time, is something that I do not have to spare. The waters of my life is slowly dripping away before me. I cannot stop my inevitable death. It approaches me like an old friend. Patiently waiting as my life ebbs away. I do not fear death. I welcome it, with open hooves. But... Before I die, there is one wish that I hope to see fulfilled. It might prove difficult, even impossible. However... I no longer have anything to lose. And I hope to at least find some form of comfort before I leave this world, forgotten and swept under the drain.

I wish to meet my love, Princess Luna.

This story examines the question of a possible alternate outcome to the episode "Too Many Pinkie Pies" and what might have happened had Twilight sent the wrong clone/real Pinkie Pie back to the Mirror Pool, irretrievably lost, and if the remaining one was one of the clones.

If you're a fan of Pinkie Pie, this story will make you sad.

A grown-up Spike looks back on his life and on those who are no longer with him as the anniversary of a dear friend's death rolls around. Will he be able to deal with his grief and put the past behind him? Or will he need the help of someone even older?
