Thestrals have returned to Equestria, but some still aren't willing to accept them. Meanwhile, Acrylic prepares to begin a new life with Torchwood. They'll face hardships, discover dangerous secrets, and begin the most terrifying quest of all- starting a family. Thestrals were defeated by the Princesses Luna and Celestia a thousand years ago, and are thought extinct. But what will happen when one moves to Ponyville? Disguised as an earth pony, Acrylic does her best to fit in. The burden of hiding her wings weighs heavily on her, and keeps her from becoming truly close to anypony. Can she keep the secret, or will she expose her entire race?

Takes place in season 1

Twilight Sparkle, mostly settled in the small town of Ponyville, finds herself at a loss as ponies start letting themselves in (literally and figuratively) into her life. On her end, she and (for some reason constantly brought in conversation) Spike are doing perfectly fine.

But the ponies... Oh, the ponies are in a uproar as they wonder and ponder the big questions.

What did Twilight 'do' to get sent to Ponyville?
How exactly was she coping living 'alone'?
What really was the story about Spike?
Didn't she need 'help'?

A young thang like herself, raising her son alone in a little place like Ponyville, needed all the help she could. Or not. Maybe, she didn't. Being a fool who got herself knocked up and thrown away from the Princess on high...

Takes place before season 1

Twilight Sparkle receives a interesting letter from someone who refers to themselves as Secret Admirer. But this story isn't about her.

It's about the very first letter and the letters that come after that.

She has no name, no past, and no memories. Day in and day out, she has existed in a small cell. It's all she's ever known. On the surface, she's comfortable with her routine life. But there are questions lingering in her mind. Who is she? Was there ever anything else? Did something happen to her?

When she gets an unexpected visit from a purple unicorn, her world is quickly turned upside down. Is ignorance really bliss?

As a young filly, Fluttershy had trouble fitting in. She's far too timid to make friends in school, and at home she slowly finds her solace and optimism crushed by her cruel drunkard of a father. Her parents argue every night, and her father has threatened to walk out many times in the past. Fluttershy wants nothing more than for her parents to stay together and be happy, but where does a filly turn to when bitterness and conflict are all around her?

Pinkie Pie is attacked by ruffians in Ponyville Park. Then things get interesting.

It has been thirteen days since the fiasco with the swapping of Fluttershy's friends' destinies, thirteen days since it was all fixed and everything went back to normal, and thirteen days since Fluttershy felt anything other than being worthless.

As children and as adults, Twilight always had conflicted views about her brother. Pure and simple, he was a weirdo around her. Sometimes, he would be in a good mood. Sometimes, he would be in a bad mood. And sometimes, he would be smarter than her using his strange logic. For Twilight, logic does not exist. Not that kind of logic. That logic was wrong because it always, always made her feel stupid.

Her brother Shining was aware of that and took pleasure in taking her down a notch. It's only a game that only smart ponies could understand... And if his sister couldn't understand that, she didn't deserve to call herself the smartest.

Pinkamena Diana Pie takes a quill to paper and writes. Pinkie writes nothing important. Pinkamena tries to define love and life. There might have been a point somewhere.
