Change can be a scary thing. The familiar is comforting, it’s something that we know to be concrete and unmoving. But even concrete cracks, and even marble loses its shine. Jo has learned this the hard way, dissatisfied, disillusioned, and with a secret that is bursting to get out. Sometimes, all you need is a little magical nudge. A healthy dose of inter-dimensional radiation never hurt nopony.

Charley was not the least bit surprised when he came face to face with Death after months of fighting cancer. It was just the final thing in a long line of disappointment and regret for him.

Death, however, wasn't pleased with what he saw, and threatened Charley with losing his soul for the way his life turned out. Before it was lost though, Death decided to give Charley one final chance. A last task: to make one friend. Make one friend in one week, and he'd be able to pass through to the other side.

Making one friend in one week? That should be easy enough, right?

He is not a breezy but a fairy pony. There were apparently many types of fairy pony but he happens to be the earth pony kind.

Even more unfortunately he can not be seen by only pony he has encountered.

But there is one who can sense him.

And from this day onward, Spike never had a problem with Celestia's "Wheel of Trolling" again. Sure, it still loiters at the back of his mind from time to time, and it felt a bit cheeky to hide it from the pony who hatched him, but there are just some things an assistant is duty-bound to cover silently when they can-can.

While playing the Equestrian version of Jenga with Eric Reed, Starlight Glimmer found herself facing seemingly imminent defeat. However, as a pony with a devious streak that rarely minds "bending" the rules, she chose to use her magic in unfair ways as a last resort. Obviously, she was met with objections from Eric.

But unluckily for Starlight, she forgot her human opponent knew how unicorn magic works quite well...

This story is one of a series of stories that all take place after A Giant Adventure to Equestria. However, it is not necessary to read any of them to understand this story, but "A Giant Adventure to Equestria" does show how and why the human OC Eric Reed is in Equestria and how his bond with Starlight formed.

It's Winter Wrap Up Day across Equestria, and Pinkie Pie would prefer her pregnancy not prevent her from pushing out winter with the other ponies, in order to bring spring to Ponyville. She may be near due, but she can still help! She may need to find something else to do is all, but that's alright. Why, conveniently, each of her best friends is doing something different she can shake a hoof at trying!

Inspired by Ultramare, but NOT set in the Ultramare universe. That is owned by the artist khorme and I am honestly not that familiar with it. Besides, I had my own ideas I wanted to explore that I don't think would fit that universe. Not without some tinkering at least. Enjoy!
