Spike has made it to 17, a time when a colt becomes a stallion, at least for ponies. The same goes for our Dragon as he realizes what being a man truly means. After an altercation during his Birthday, spike will face his fate and possibly his doom at the hooves of a dark, and demented tyrant. It will be up to him to protect Twilight, to be her Guardian in the upcoming war against the shadows....

Spike has been feeling lonely lately. Everyday he watches Twilight go off and have fun with her friends while he does the same thing: clean, and do chores. His luck seems to change though when he and Twilight find a flyer for a circus. With Twilight's friends, Spike goes to the circus with them. At the circus, Spike meets and befriends the circus performers and show him true love and friendship. Tired of being left out or not being loved by the others, Spike decides to leave Twilight and the others for his new friends. Will they get the baby dragon back?

Do note this was written originally on my DeviantART account and came out before season 2 of Friendship is Magic. This was my first fic as well so I know I won't accept a lot of praise or anything here. I do appreciate you all reading it though.

Taking him under her wing, Cadence sets up practice dates for the young dragon. But with each date, something grows underneath the surface. The dividing line blurs, and practice soon becomes reality...

The Firework Lotus Celebration, a grand festival which celebrates the dawn of a new year, is a tradition held near and dear to Spike's heart. But when the winds of change threaten to take this special time away from him, Spike is forced to make a difficult decision. Which is more important: what he knows to be right, or what he feels to be right?

And as Spike soon discovers, it's a choice best made with the help of some friends.

It's been a week since the Royal Wedding, and Twilight and her friends are back in Ponyville, safe and sound. However, ever since they returned from Canterlot, all of Twilight's friends have gone through large bouts of guilt over ignoring her warnings. But of all her friends, Twilight is most concerned about Spike, who keeps waking up in the middle of the night with severe panic attacks.

Despite all her best efforts, Twilight hasn't been able to get her assistant to talk about his dreams, or make him feel better about himself since that day. But after another restless night, Twilight has had enough, and refuses to let him go until he talks about his dream.

However, when Spike finally confesses his recurring nightmare, he talks about what could've happened if Twilight never saved the wedding. And what she discovers, is much worse than she could've ever imagined.

In a humanized world, Spike is a new kid in Equestria High where he meet's Twilight and her friends. During his school years he'll be facing friends and enemies along the way. He'll face a fight, breaking in the schools, solving cases, a adventure Spike and his friends will never forget.

Have you ever watched one of the episodes of MLP and started wondering, "I wonder what Spike is doing right now?" well the answer to that question will be satiated here.

Join Spike as he goes through many of his own adventures whenever the mane 6 are on their own or when he is merely helping others while not on screen.

There will also be noticeable changes on canon episodes but it wont change how Spike's character is. Mostly adjusted scenes and/or different wording.

Lastly, episodes where Spike is the main focus, or is mostly presented will either be shortened or will have most skipped.
