Scootaloo, in her never-ending quest to learn how to fly, talks with her only friend in flight school, Rumble, after being saved from an accident involving a terribly electrostatic cloud.

Apparently, this story was featured on the day it was published. Though for only a brief number of hours (during which I was asleep) I am thankful to the mods for seeing this story fit to be in that little box at the front page.

It's been a while for our six favourite ponies and each of them has found their own special somepony to settle down with. But as always with them, something is always happening.

A series of little ficlets that have different themes, some funny, some romantic but mostly they're extremely odd.

Miss Cheerilee has informed her class of the brand new scheme that Princess Twilight Sparkle and Princess Luna had come up with called Somepony New Day. In which, one pony has to spend the whole day with a pony they usually wouldn't. Not many ponies liked the sound of the idea, but hey. They get the day off school.

This day was going to be special. This day was the day Rumble would finally confess his crush on Scootaloo, on the fillly's birthday no less! His plan was set. His preperations were made. There was only one thing Rumble failed to consider: himself.

What could Scootaloo possibly see in him? What has he really done? More importantly, where, oh where, in Ponyville could a young colt go to find a little adventure?

Rainbow Dash left her adopted daughter Scootaloo to foalsit her foals while she is out for the night. As soon as she left Rumble came in to help Scootaloo as well as spend some time with her. Unfortunately for him, Rainbow Dash's daughter Corona Flare wanted to spend time with Scootaloo only and became jealous that Rumble took her attention away. So for the rest of the night Corona attempts to get rid of Rumble.

*This is a side story to The Winds of Change, and starts after the first chapter of the sequel.*
With the sudden re-drafting of Jason and Dash into the military, Scootaloo is left feeling more alone than she can remember. Sure, she still has her friends, but friends can't just replace parents. And now with knowledge of her parent's leave all over the town, Diamond Tiara's bound to pick up on her weakness. But she's not the same scared, defenseless pony she was a month ago, is she?

Honestly, this works without knowledge of the prior story, besides the fact that Jason and Dash are her parents, and that they both have a heavy military background. Other than that, it's just another story.

Tags were hard with this, I have to say. There's only light romance, so don't worry about implied foalcon. There's no human tag, because Jason's only mentioned, and is barely involved if at all.
