She knew. Deep down, Twilight had known for years. It was obvious, really: how long had Celestia and Luna been alive? Thousands of years and they were alicorns. Yet, how long did the average pony live? Up to a hundred if they were lucky. 
Twilight had known for a while, that much was true, but she still thought...maybe...just maybe, if she didn’t think about it, it wouldn’t be true.

It’s been 500 years since an immortal Princess Twilight Sparkle buried her last friend. Nopony who remembers them is still alive, other than the princesses. Her friends are remembered as the Elements of Harmony and former teachers at the School of Friendship. Their lives are told the way they were written in storybooks.

Twilight is ready to become a legend with them.

What follows is a fictional survival story based off of real events. Pocornia, passionate fiction writer and gourmet popcorn selling entrepreneur is struggling to stay afloat in a society plagued by a strange virus. Her situation deteriorates, leading her down a very dark path...

This story covers a very serious topic that I feel is getting overlooked in the age of Covid, bad mental health. If such content is too much for you to read then do not read this story. After the defeat of Kid Buu, the world can be at peace, but a certain Half-Saiyan starts to feel rather inadequate as he thinks of everything his idols have achieved. As a result, Goten starts to think he isn't living up to his potential.

Then, a long gone Saiyan suddenly appears offering him the chance to be a hero in Equestria. What does Goten do? naturally, he runs into the portal where the Saiyan stands. Now, he must come to understand what it means to be a true hero, or he will fail everyone.

(Note: Unless I state otherwise, all episodes that are not written into chapters happened with minimal or no interference from Goten. He's still there just in a minor role that would make writing out the chapter a useless endeavor.

Episodes which serve a purpose to the plot, Goten's development, and/or help him bond with other characters will be the chapters I write. This is all in an effort to ensure this story comes to an end some day.)

It's graduation day for the stallions and mares of the Canterlot University of Music. Vinyl's recently formed band, The Midnight Mares, which consist of: Gale (an earth pony drummer), Crimson Talon (a gryphon guitarist), Neon Lights (a unicorn keyboardist), and Vinyl herself on Bass/Singing duty. They've been asked by their old university to put on a show for the graduating class.

Despite this opportunity for them, Vinyl seems intent on not attending the graduation show for some reason. Worried about Vinyl, disappointing prospective fans, and maybe a little worried about being an accessory to whatever trouble Vinyl gets herself into, the Midnight Mares go out in search for Vinyl. Luckily it's not that hard to find her, just follow the path of chaos.

The newly coronated Princess Twilight suffers an abrupt tragedy. Having lost two loved ones, she begins to question her own mortality, and that of her friends.

AJ, Dash, Rarity, Pinkie, Fluttershy. . . they are just the beginning. Twilight will live for thousands of years, so every pony she cares about—every pony she will ever care about, will die.

She could barely handle the pain of one funeral, let alone the thought of hundreds of them. Twilight finds a clever way to ensure all of her friends never die. They can’t all be ageless alicorns, but they can all move into Twilight’s Dollhouse. Then they can be best friends forever.

When Applejack's long-time companion, Winona, is found dead on the front porch of Sweet Apple Acres homestead porch, Applejack travels to her friend Twilight's house for support over the loved family dog. The rest of Applejack and Twilight's friends also arrive to help support their friend Applejack. The next day, the group of friends and the Apple Family go to the boldest hill of Sweet Apple Acres before laying Winona down for one last rest.

Funerals are always sad and this one is no exception: the Apple Family matriarch Granny Smith has recently passed away. The entire Apple Family and all of their friends come together to say goodbye to the founder of Ponyville for the last time.

This story is dedicated to my grandmother, who recently died after a long and difficult battle with stomach cancer.
