On a research trip to the in the castle in the Everfree, Twilight and Spike come across an old set leather bound books....journals to be exact, journals of a young man and a ship not of their world.

This is the tale of a young American by the name of James Cable aboard the whaling ship Abagail and a long forgotten war.

Rated teen for language. Alright everypony this is my first story for FIMFiction, hope you enjoy it. Any tips, tricks, hints, and positive criticism are welcome.

The names of the ship and its crew have no historical base, they are to my knowledge products of my imagination.

An A.I. awakens aboard the HKS Dancer, a desolate and quiet ship. The crew of which is nowhere to be found. And in the wake of all of this the A.I. discovers something.... something peculiar.

A lone utahraptor is caught in a struggle to survive, he is a predator from late creataceous Wyoming. He lives day in and day out looking for food, water and sometimes shelter. He may be six foot tall and 10 feet long but he is not the largest dinosaur by a long shot. He is always on the run from the massive Tyrannosaurus rex. But an asteroid impact exposes a now unstable portal that has been long since kept under ground. The raptor falls in and ends up in a whole new world, and a whole new way of thinking. He ends up befriending a few of the people he meets, but what about enemies

Twilight and the rest of the Mane 6 have gotten bored. They have spread friendship throughout Equestria, but now there is nothing to do. Suddenly, the map shows a completely new island to the girls, and they have to go and deal with the friendship problem there. On the way, they'll encounter strange and wonderful new friends, and a very different foe than what they've ever encountered before.

Rated Teen due to slightly vulgar language, scenes of suggestive gore and suggestive themes

The war is finally over. We ponies have lost. Our plan to convert humanity into ponies has failed. Hundreds of thousands are dead. Homes destroyed. Our nation is shattered and near annihilation. All because we underestimated humanity and their refusal to become like us.

I alone now hold the fate of my people in my hooves against the humans who want nothing more than to destroy us for the so called atrocities we have committed against them. I've lost my friends one way or another. My family. My fellow Princesses.

I have but one duty and that is, reluctantly, to see that we are shown mercy.

I'm just afraid of the cost. Or what I will learn from this.
