After a hard year an near catastrophic breakup Applejack and Rainbow Dash struggle to pick up the pieces while the girls deal with their own relationships.

This is an attempt to make a single moment into a story.

Event: Rainbow Dash has been with Applejack for a while now. They've been together for a while now, but none of them made a move yet. Rainbow Dash and Applejack are in Applejack's room after her work is finished. They've been sitting on Applejack's bed for quite some time. Rainbow Dash wanted to ask her something and the moment starts there.

Rainbow is going to spend Hearth's Warming Eve with her marefriend Applejack, only to have a mysterious present appear under the tree. Who is it from and who is it for.

What was seemingly just a day to play, turned out into something so much more. An ordinary day turns extraordinary, when Applejack learns of her true love for her rainbow maned friend. Both realize this is what they want, and they prove it. A normal night in the barn becomes much more than anypony could have ever thought. Does this happen all by chance? Or does somepony influence it?

Rainbow Dash arrives at Applejack's house to pick her up to spend a little bit of Christmas day with her, but when AJ shows to get in the car she seems nervous and not quite herself. What's going on?

Rainbow Dash and Applejack have been having interesting encounters over the last couple of weeks, but now Rainbow is wondering where it's going. Little does she know, she's about to be surprised.

Applejack has had a crush on Rainbow Dash for a while. On a brisk fall evening, after their friends have left, the farm girl decides to finally take a chance on the athlete.
