Fluttershy's prepared for the biggest challenge to tell Rainbow Dash how she really feels . . . how could that go?

Rainbow Dash thought she knew her friend Cloudfront. She thought she understood at least most of what went on in his anxious little head. She thought that being someone's best friend meant you knew everything about them. Turns out there was a lot she didn't know and a lot more there to love.

Change can be scarier but love makes it just a little easier.

The last night of the year is here and Pinkie Pie is hosting a fun night of dancing for all to enjoy. Vinyl Scratch and her marefriend, Octavia provide the music that leads many couples to the dance floor.

For Twilight, it is a rare opportunity to dance publicly with her marefriend, Luna. Celestia and her plus one, Discord also show up for some fun, chaos and dancing. For others such as Rumble, it is a night with the opportunity to discover that dancing with somepony doesn't have to be uncool.

Includes plenty of cute couples enjoying the night's festive dance as they see the last night of the year out.

A spin-off oneshot of my story, "What She Doesn't See". Bullied at school and close to invisible at home, Fluttershy felt hollow and heavy. Social anxiety and depression tie her down until her turmoil of emotions become too much to bear. It comes down to Rainbow Dash, the vivid and bold amaryllis of Fluttershy's life, having to show her that she isn't alone and that you need rain to make a rainbow. A Flutterdash shipfic.

Not all scars are visible. Fluttershy was the object of countless jokes and taunts aimed at her aerial ineptitude and her close relationship with Rainbow Dash during flight school. Even now, years removed from the fillyhood traumas of her past, Ponyville's resident animal expert feels the effects. She tried to build walls to keep all of the memories at bay, but now those walls are a little too close for comfort.

It wasn’t Rainbow Dash’s idea of a good time, but watching the Butterfly Migration was a perfect excuse to spend time with Fluttershy. Their conflicting schedules had been forcing them apart for the past few days, and for a while the two simply enjoy each others company. But as the afternoon drags on, and thought’s that Rainbow has tried desperately to fight back begin to surface, things get out of hoof fast. A disastrous accident brings the two closer together than they have ever been before, and soon the peaceful afternoon becomes a fight for survival. This is a story of self discovery, and a confusing, but prosperous relationship between two mares.
