Spike has lived in Ponyville for 6 years, and Rarity has always been his crush, and love interest. But, once he finally musters the courage to tell her how he feels, she breaks his heart with her views on inter-species romance. Now, Spike must deal with the fact that the only one he's loved will never return his feelings. On top of that, Twilight starts to act strange around him, but she's not in heat like he thought she was. Will Spike's heart mend, or will he refuse to open his heart again?

After Princess Twilight is given the news that she must move much farther from their friend than she already had, Spike finds himself infuriated. The resulting argument is enough to force him to run away, but neither could have imagined how devastating it would be to their friendship. Now, six years later, Spike can't stop thinking about what he did that night and how dearly he wishes to take it back. So, after many sleepless nights, he decides to return to the friend he's long since abandoned, though when he arrives in Canterlot, Spike may have found more than just friendship.

Twilight always thought it was unfair. If there was anypony she grew to love the most, it would be Spike. But Spike kept falling and falling for Rarity. And sometimes, she'd wish he'd fall flat on his face. She just needed to confess. But will he be willing to go from 'brother and sister' to something more?

The curtain sets over the stage, but the characters continue to move, to speak, to live. This is just one event that occurred after we tuned out. An event which would occur as the Ponyville Days festival drew to a close and and Twilight would finally ask for her assistant to speak his mind on the events which had transpired.

Twilight Sparkle, who doesn't know first thing about romance, planned to spend another hearts and hooves day at the library while reading a good book, much to Spike's objection. However, this time she will be forced to attend this very special occasion but not everything will go smoothly, not when a certain duo wants to do everything in their might to make it the worst day ever!
Will love prevail? Or will it succumb to petty misunderstandings and fears? Read to find out!

Pairings: Spilight and...one other pair!

When two friends have been best friends for as long as they can remember, certain aspects seem impossible or can be hidden from each other. But over time, emotions and feelings can change. What will this mean for Spike and Twilight Sparkle, and will they be the only ones who are changing their feelings?

A day that Spike has always dreaded is approaching so he runs away to prevent anypony from getting hurt. When Twilight sets out to find him, she finds the feelings for the dragon that she's kept locked deep inside of her.

"He truly loved her and knew she loved him just as much. The dragon gulped deeply as a fluttering sensation occupied his stomach. He didn't just love Twilight as a friend."

After finally giving up on Rarity, Spike realizes that the true mare of his dreams has been in his company for a lifetime, but is unsure if Twilight would ever consider him as more than a great friend and assistant. The only way he can find out is ask.
