Unable to stop Starlight Glimmer's plan to stop the Sonic Rainboom, Twilight Sparkle and Spike pleaded desperately for her to stand down. In canon, Starlight relented at the last second and consequently reformed.

But what would have happened if Starlight gave a different reaction to Twilight's friendship offer and hoof?

Spoiler alert: it ended with one of them in roaring laughter.

While investigating Canterlot Library for the source of a potentially dangerous amount of love, Princess Cadance stumbled across its forbidden archives. There, she came across numerous stories packed with romance–some between ponies she knew.

Eventually, the Princess of Love decided that she would "help" make some of the romances a reality. A new shipper was born.

Unfortunately, things didn't go as she hoped, and it might even cost Cadance her horn.

Newly reformed and fresh off her parade celebrating the beginning of her redemption, Starlight Glimmer arrived at the Castle of Friendship with Princess Twilight Sparkle and Spike. She was ready to learn friendship from Twilight, now her teacher, and Twilight was excited over having her own student.

However, Spike was even more excited over Starlight moving in. He drooled over the prospect of having backup in dealing with the bane of his existence.

But only if he doesn't scare Starlight off first...

While being chased by a hydra, Twilight Sparkle tried to jump across a chasm to safety like her friends did, but came up short. She found herself falling and screaming to her death.

However, right before she could become the late Twilight Sparkle, Spike reminded her that she could teleport to save herself. She didn't have to be reminded twice.

Unfortunately, teleporting not only kept her in danger, but also put her friends back in danger! Although Twilight did not expect how things would end...

During a visit to the human world, Princess Twilight Sparkle was taught some of the basics of how the internet works by her human counterpart. She planned to have a field day surfing the web to learn more about her human friends' world.

However, thanks to luck and previous activities, Princess Twilight was led to a "mature" website. Being born a pony and raised in Equestria, she didn't understand the true gravity of what she was seeing. Worse, none of that boded well for the human Twilight...

Since she became an alicorn princess, Princess Twilight Sparkle has done her best in her role as one. However, while she had grown into a remarkable princess and even gained her own student in Starlight Glimmer, Twilight wasn't a true princess.

At least, she wasn't according to Princess Celestia. It was time for Twilight to take her place as one of Equestria's true princesses.

However, Twilight would not like what it would require her to do. She wasn't going to be the only one to not like it.

Spike learned years ago that he came from an egg. However, he was never told where foals come from.

To find out, he asked the pony that hatched him, Twilight Sparkle, the question of how foals are born.

Long story short: Rarity had to get involved. Not because she wanted to.

But, it was finally over. Things were beginning to look up.

Now that one of the worst years in Equestria's history is in the record books, join its inhabitants as they cheered like never before. Even some of the villains that reformed just for today joined the fun.

Starlight Glimmer tried to deny it. A LOT. You have no idea.

However, the signs were there. She had feelings for Sunburst. Unfortunately, no matter how much she had grown as a pony since learning friendship, Starlight could never act on her feelings for her foalhood friend.

So, Starlight's Great and Powerful best friend, Trixie, decided to step in. She WILL have Starlight confess to Sunburst, even if there was more to her unusual insistence than it seemed.

This story was requested by superfun, and it is a special 2-year Fimfiction anniversary story to celebrate me being a writer on the site for 2 years.

Pinned down and powerless, Starlight Glimmer found herself in a seemingly hopeless pinch. Her plan to save Twilight Sparkle and her friends from the changelings failed.

With no help in sight, is Starlight and Equestria finished, or could something Twilight sometimes do be the key to saving the day? At the very least, Starlight will get answers to various topics that she had always wanted to know...and then some.
