After unusual circumstances leave them forever changed, the Cutie Mark Crusaders embark on one final adventure to regain what they've lost.

Pinkie Pie hasn't been feeling like herself lately, and she is soon struck with the unbelievable truth that she is slowly losing control of herself... to herself. Pinkamena, her dark and twisted side, has awoken from her slumber in the recesses of Pinkie's mind. With Pinkie shocked of the fact that her own split personality has a mind of it's own, she is faced with an impossible challenge. Will she be able to overcome Pinkamena's control? Or lose herself to the unnerving power that she contains?

This is my first fic and I am open to all kinds of feedback from everypony. So as i can make this story as enjoyable as possible.

A single thought in a psychopath's mind.

As the smell of blood fills her nostrels, Pinkie Pie is finally given a moment as her old self to grief and think about what she's done. The change is always temporary, so Pinkie Pie writes... something as the precious seconds slip away.

A normal day was all it took.
A simple failed prototype, a missed experiment.
There was an explosion, and I woke up. I don't really know what happened between those two events, but I'm fairly certain I shouldn't have awoken in a small, dark box.

I'm scared.
