This story is a sequel to Pumpkin and Spike

Pumpkin asks Spike if she'll take her to Gala with him so they can hang out, happy to help his friend out, he agrees to take her. Disaster ensues for all who don't have a funny bone And all allergic to Explosions which is almost everpony at the Gala

Pumpkin Cake losses the Spike plushie she got from the Crystal Empire, while looking for a replacement Spike walks in, She then proceeds to follow him around for the rest of the day.

This takes place a little way into the future so Pumpkin is around the age the CMC is in the show.
